What stocks are you buying tomorrow as dowjones lost 630+ points today?  Are you planning to still wait?

These are in my watchlist:

MRK - Merck
INTC - Intel
WM - Waste Management
SO - Southern Company
NLY - Annaly Capital
PEB - Pebblebrook Hotel Trust
KO - Coca Cola
BAC - Bank of America Corp.
GE - General Electric
PG - Procter and Gamble

Any thoughts on these?

i have a question to all the investor gurus..I always thought about putting money on stocks. but was never able to make my mind up on what should i buy, what site should i use as my trading/investment broker. I recently joined ING direct. Havent done any transactions yet, but i do know that they charge me $7.95 for each deal and monthly fee around $15.00. Is it the best deal i can get or others like Scottrade, TD Trade, E trade offer better service with lower charges.

Scottrade is $7 per trade and no maintenance fee. Plus you get 60 days free trading for signing up.

if you want to trade a lot (active trading )then go for brokers with per share commisions like interactive brokers, speedtrader etc

if you are just investing then flatrates would be fine but find one without maintenance fees

but per share pricing is better for both if you ask me ...for splitting up your entry and exits , commissions wont cut into ur profits or increase your losses that much

its always safer to not go all in at once

NFLX is dead and rolling in its grave rt now lol in the 77s

Carnage on AMZN too , couple of weeks ago we were talking about shorting AMZN...looks like their 1 cent profit on every kindle they make showed up on their earnings afterhours

and eastsidaz wait till tomorrow's Europe thing...and then decide which one ....VLO hammer candle but its a red one...wait for confirmation of another buy volume day or tomorrow if it pulls back given the market does not like what comes out of europe tomorrow wait for it to establish a bottom...trade cautiously

m still holding my SQNS did not get stopped out ...

Guys,
If u know what is a true selling day then, we had on tuesday. It signals schange in at least very short term market sentiment. As, i had discussed market resistance yesterday, its time for market to tests its supports. Profit-taking, fear mongering and volatility will be part of this move. We should tests 117-1140 on S&P before we see any sustainable leg up.
I am expecting head and shoulders reversal for this market for upside. Avid chart watchers like Tyranny should understand what to look for.

fasten yr seat belt .....happy trading/investing .....happy Tihar !!!!

very frustating 2 weeks.....i was hoping for a quick selling of 100 points or so of S & P. So i was looking for selling opportunities all the time. Finally, overnite, i was long EUR/USD one lot hoping to get aroung 200 pips with risk of 20 pips. To my good fortune, Euro broke down huge within 30 minutes of my trade and quickly i reversed my trade for short-side  accepting loss of 17 pips. Haven't still closed my position and have almost 200 pips of paper profit.

Weakenss in euro provided the much anticipated down push for S&P too which i had expected before i went to bed last nite. So far so good....shorting Euro and S&P.

Disclaimer: My intention of writing my trade here is not to boost my ego rather than to show patience, timing, understanding intermarket relations and willingness to accept calculated risks are part of winning in the stock market.

I hope to see follow through selling tomorrow too.
Good Luck

I am closely following ABAT.PK.  This is a Chineese battrey company which was recently delisted from NASDQ after failing to provide quarterly report and other financial statements integrity demands (NASDAQ asked to audit their account in the bank to see if they really have money in the account). I was in @ 0.33 when it went OTC. Last week it was climbing like crazy around 25% up per day until it reach 0.95 and crashed. This stock was hugely shorted and rumored to be a fradulent company by some online research firms who had short interest in it . Last week It was in news that they opened n new 83.3 Million facility in China. A long guy from CA travelled there, took some pictures of the openion ceromony, talked to CEO and posted in flicker. Yahoo finance today shows its market value of 35 million and PE Ration of 0.87. I think this company is hugely undervalued and if they can clean their image and get relisted or go private it has a huge upside potential.
From what I see is this company needs a good PR officer as their english website is really not up todate. They are still looking for their new CFO. I believe this company is way undervalued and has huge upside potential if the rumor of financial fraud is only rumors spread by shorts.
I know I made the very same mistake by buying and holding in this volatile market. Damn it I should have never listened to Buffet...lol. Too many missed opportunites have made me rethink my strategy. Now I will ride the next wave and dump it. Anyways guys check this stock out and I think if you can grab it around 0.40s or low 0.50s then still it has more upside potential then downside risk.
Looking at its wild swings I would not bet my future on it though, I just make small part of my portfolio.

@80s ....if you are in at 0.33 take profits in the next bounce if it happens at all ....i think its one of the typical china fraud stocks like BFAR, CHBT.....jst play the bounce....do not get caught holding  or at least leave a stop order in place. About the due diligence u did...it really does not matter when you are dealing with pennystocks....even nasdaqs with such less volume(ABAT did not have much volume before it was delisted) are pennystocks

if you are into shorting china frauds refer Muddywatersresearch  website...if your stock shows up on their website...then its going to pennies for sure ...except some like their last one FMCN it kinda did not stick but its headed lower none the less  ..but its mainly abt how early you are to the party on the shortside

G luck
