I'm in F1 status after H1.If my H1 application gets rejected after I get the new job,can I still retain F1 status after that? Help will be appreciated.

yes you can. Approving doesn't mean you are in H1 immediately. After the H1 approval, there is a process called Change of Status (COS). so If your H1 get denied you will be back to previous status.
