I was there last month for 5 days. I met couple of Nepali at University of Utah. There are ~20 Nepali in the univ.

Place to visit

Bingham Canyon Mine EntranceBingham Canyon Mine its about 40 min drive from SLC, very good environmental management . or visit Park city,small hilly town good to have lunch there. Many pharmaceutical companies are in SLC.

Timpanoca cave is closed because of the winter, in summer its nice place to visit. you can visit the island in the salt lake and watch the Buffalo, don't forget to take the binocular. Sorry don't know about Nepalese there
or visit Mormon church in the city you will have free tour and presentation about the Mormons. also there small museums too, if you want to spend free time
