I am not a 'jyapu' (by the way, you chose to print that term for newars derogatorily and expect us not to call you a racist?), I am actually a brahmin, but I actually belted few glasses of Martini after the death of a patriarch, tyrant, corrupt and cocky SOB Girija Koirala. I always refrained of using strong words against others but morons like you trigger it. He was NOT Mahatma Gandhi, he was NOT Martin Luther King, he was NOT Nelson Mandela, Winston Churchill, JFK etc. He was just a haughty politician who cashed on the name of BP Koirala shamelessly and left no stone unturned to make his daughter (who had no political history during people's revolution) a prime minister of Nepal. This the culture we inherited, if you see the westerner, what ever the differences they had , they will not bring it up to his or her coffin or the  cremation.

If we were human and think like a human we should have brought our differences in front not after his or death. Does Girija knows it now? Hake not, does it makes any difference to him after his death, hake not. So what is the point of celebrating on someone's death. I will apply in the case of Puspa Kamal too.

To each his own I guess. I wrote against Girija even when he was alive, and I shall continue writing against him even long after his death. He screwed up more than he did anything good. BP did too, but he was a visionary. One always has to overlook the dirty linen sometimes but Girija being a visionary leader just sounds so ridiculous to me. I did feared only Paras and Dhirendra when Nepal had a monarch;  I fear every single person now. Deomcracy my ass, that ferrets students out of school and pits them in political arena.

If I go to Nepal, gather few goons, throw stone against the existing government, go to jail, return as a supposed victor, address the crowd with premeditated speeches and call myself a fighter, would you consider me a leader? Why don't you understand that they see their 'silver lining' as 'power and wealth' eventually, not 'Nation's interest'. You are not getting my point.
