I think I definately did the right thing...being away from family and all is definately hard but begin able to make my mistakes and learn from them has made me better person. I dont want anyone looking over my shoulders and telling me what to do. I feel free and happy here.

I had both bad and good experiences. I cannot say that I would have only good ones if I stayed home.
The good times were fun, and I learned a lot about life form the bad times.
its all good in the end.

If I was in Nepal I would be still living with my parents and curse politician everyday for all the mess around.But ,I might have been successful Businessman or politician.Who knows?I might have been better than what I am.But I don't regret it.

not to mention regular load sheding up to 18 hrs , lack of running water in the tap when u are doing something important in the bathroom and heaps of unattended garbage everywhere, running around to catch micro bus and stinking ppl inside trying to touch u...ekks.. ...but i miss family,mom bringing bed tea, friends, and laughing over nothing ,  good food and festivals, thamel, sleep over at relatives places.....feels like taking a VACCATION in nepal again....

 

 

 

ek damai honest bhayera bhanda khera nepal ma bhayeko bhaye maile aafaile kamayera gadi kinna ta parai jaos euta laptop samma kinna sakne thina hola. yaha ta hami nepal ko high profile life nai bitairaheka chau ni. din dinai restaurant ma gayera dollar kharcha gareko chha, strip club gayera khaireni ghumako chha, khai aaru ke bhanne.

 

 

america aayera kam gariyo...dukha gariyo...padhai sakiyo...ailey padhai anusar kai kam garincha..hakla paisa ni kamyincha....ali lai ghar ma paisa pathayincha.......nepal ma ni kam gariyo 1,2 barsa...tehi pani end ma aayera dad mom sangha paisa magnu parney condition aauthiyo....america ayera independent bhahiyo...tehi nai hola america is all about.....

 

Jhapaliketo --- "strip club gayera khaireni ghumako chha" - i dont buy this. i think ending up in a strip club is a result of not getting girls. nobody considered this as a "khaireni ghumako "

you live in your country where people don't ask you where are you from? what what what what what? cuz they don't understand your accent, immediately judge you cuz you're a darkie and not mexican = Indian or muslim....what the hell, it's better to live with your loved ones, get respect , live like a man.. you can buy cars ,laptops in US but you can't buy the social life and respect that you can get back home.. if you haven't dug yourself really deep into this trap, get out and go enjoy life my friends..

<P>As someone said above, Miss whole lot of things back home - specially, those morning teas...jadoe ma aagoe in the bardali....dad lay liyara aunay jerry (jerry that u find in sweets pasal. not tom n jerry) from Bisranti, Mattidevi, Dinner @ dad rooms while watching  his TV, although there were TVS in other Rooms and changing channels, dad ko khillie udhaue nay sabaie jana milayra becoz he used to spend money on stupid things that never worked, dad lay katayra diya koe apple before bed....dad coming in the room in the middle of night, and putting 2 pillows on either side so that my hand would stay away from mosquitoe nets ( I still do that here in USA...now its habit...if i don't have pillows around me, nindra lagdaie na)..and offcourse dad ko paisa chornay in a unique way....whenever need somthing mom li gayara khich khich garnay....since youngest in family ghar ma ghurki dekhauenay.....bhat nakhanay dhamki dinaye....dai ko bike chorayra din vhari gayab hunay..didi saga paisa magnay ....................................................................rakshi khakoe din uncle ani relatives ma gayara sutnay ani ghar bata 10 chotti phone auda , suti sakoe vhannay......kancha koe allue ko acchar...( he was best)..........meri ( my dog) saga khelnay ani bihan as soon as mom used to open main door...room ma aayear nachay koe nachaie garnay................Oh man........I am stopping here....kaam ma chue ..feri roko sabaie lay dekhlaaaaa.........</P>
