I am a web designer and have many website. I am in New York and now i want to register it (by lawyer).

What are the requirement for the registration?

For:- eg. if i register www.example.com which will be my main domain and want to make branch domain such as www.brancdomain.com and say that www.brancdomain.com is part of example.com. Do i have to register www.brancdomain.com also or www.example.com is enough?

Please share your knowledge...

     

its not a big deal bro..u can many any numbers of subdomain u want.. but depends upon the hosting package u r under..just for the registration of website..u don really need anything .. just pay few doolars(7-25) thts it... if u r registering as a company or LLC or watever.. thts a different case..

by the way if u r a good web developer u should at least have basic idea abt how web and web hosting

what kind of company you want, LLC ( low liability company) or Incorporated. LLC you could just do it yourself, in which state do you want to register your company, under whose name and physical address of the company.

For LLC you do not need lawyer, there are so many online service for that.

btw, i checked this thread coz  i am interested in domain registering but dont even know how to make a website.. lol.
