My mother is coming to US for 6 months. I was searching for health insurance for her. Can anyone suggest me some good and affordable health plan for parents in visitor visa. My father also explored the possibilities from Nepal but some people say that the claim procedure in Nepal is really problematic and thus it is worthless to purchase health plan from Nepal while visiting US. I am sure some sajha users have gone through this situation. SO, can anybody help me please?

When my parents came I asked them to buy an insurance from Nepal. I am not sure if they can buy an insurance here as they will not have a SSN number. Well the claim procedure in US is not either perfect!! Himalayan General Insurance is one example that provides this service, but you have to do a more research before buying one. Good luck.
