I heard a guy in his 30's was shot to death in Atlanta couple of days ago.

Does anyone have any information about it?

Homicide (08/25/08 @ 1942 hours in Zone 4) The Cobb County Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit is investigating a homicide which occurred at 899 Powers Ferry Road in Marietta, Georgia.

According to investigators, officers from Precinct Four responded to the Riverstone Apartments in reference to a person shot.  Upon arrival, officers located 38-year-old Binod Kumar Shrestha of Marietta, Georgia in the parking lot in front of Building H with multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Shrestha was pronounced deceased on the scene. 

There is no suspect information at this time.

Binod Shrestha, 38, A well known entrepreneur of Nepali Community in Southeast America is no more with us. A very young and dynamic person, he was very well known among the Nepalese community in Atlanta.
Born in western part of Nepal, Gulmi but currently settled in Butwal; he came to America in the 90's, and through sheer hardwork and his acquired business skills he reached an unpresidented heights of wealth and fame.
His loss is greatly felt among all the nepalese community in US. He will always be remembered as a warm, helpful and kind person and his memories will always be cherished among his friends and well wishers.
May God give his family enough strength to go through this tragic moments. May his soul rest in peace.

Was it a gang related hit job ? Which rival gang did it or was it just a mistaken identity ?

An unconfirmed news source says - he had wife and kid(s ) in Nepal. He re-marriaged in US with a white lady and obtained residency status ... But this lady came to know all this drama and there was severe problem with their relationship.. In fact, the divorce was in process in court..
