Currently suaturdau 2:09 PM in nepal. I don't understand why all the three major F.M stations run out of nepali songs. I kid you not, all the songs they playing are either HINDI or English. Does this trend not bother anybody? i love BBS hongkong radio. Although they play hindi songs, it does not sound like HINDI station like nepali KTM stations.
- Hits FM 91.2 (Kathmandu) - HBC 94 FM (Kathmandu) - Nepal FM (Kathmandu)

Barring a few stations, all other Nepali radio stations don't have a distinct format. Every station plays everything it can get its hands on.
But having said that, do you think a sports radio station or a talk radio station or a station with a specific musical format (lok geet station, oldies station, etc) would be able to sustain itself commercially in Nepal?

Ya, I have noticed Hits Fm playing hindi or nepalese songs a lot. So, i stopped listening it, others r good in my view as they include all. Hits fm, cosidered as a pupular 1, neglects the news part and always focus on those dhotis songs or english. How eould u feel if they play dhotis song early in the morning? Nonsence.
