Hey guys...I was trying to make a list of all the things that each Zone in Nepal is popular for!!

I know visitors in Sajha come from all over the country...so if you can just write in whats the product of your hometown.

For example:

Mechi: is popular for its Tea
Koshi: Rice ??? Industries??
SagarMatha: Om dai...help me out here!!
Janakpur: Cigarette Factory, Crafts...Poultry???
Bagmati: Produces lotta noise and pollution..and 1st class students for colleges Worldwide
Narayani: Wildlife..One Horned Rhino....San Miguel Beer..
Lumbini: Birthplace of Buddha,
Gandaki: ??? khoi dont know
Rapti: Rice plantation??


What else....??? What does your hometown produce?? and is popular for?

KTM:
1) Overseas manpower companies (Exports manpower)
2) Worn out vehicles (Emanates and Exports pollution)
3) Carpet industries (Used to export carpets, don't think they still do)

I mistakely mentioned Chainpur in Bhojpur district. It should be in Sankhuwasabha district. Still it is in Koshi zone anyway.

We used to chase (for fun) hundreds of Mayoor (peacock) and dears in a jungle in Chitwan.

Gandaki Zone is popular for the natural scenic spot.......like Fewa Lake, Machhapuchhre or Fishtail and many more folk..........

What bout the Western and mid-western region?? what do they produce?? like Dang, Dolpo, Pyuthan, Rolpa, Salyan??? Anybody know what they are famous for?? Or what their major products are??

excellent! The area produces Maoists and exports to other areas.

My home town is Bhushinga VDC, Okhaldhunga district, District is famous for the name of siddi charan shrestha but my village is famous for Maoist campaingn, where Army force hardly reach.

I'm from pashupatinath and my hometown (Devpattan) is famous for Banars. You can say my hometown represents my home country where "aafno pani ghar nabanoune ra aarko pani banna nadina" type of people live there. Hey pashupatinath, sab banar lai satbuddhi deu prabho.

Kathmandu ta tha chaina, i don't even know most places in KTM.

but around here...there is Mt. Vernon, couple of miles away.
Mt Vernon = George Washington's Home.

100 miles away = ocean city = work places for studetns
few miles away = washington DC = work place for Bush! lol
few miles away = baltimore = nice place
