Hi, My Employer is going to start processing greencard for me under EB2 category. I am in Texas. I don't have much idea about the greencard processing yet. Any idea how long it might take to get the greencard for EB2? Thanks for any info that you could provide. Kattie

good luck and be prepared for a torturous long process (o: http://www.shusterman.com http://www.immigration.com http://www.murthy.com pls. refer to above mentioned sites. Look @ the Labor certification time for TX and then the regional one. for RIR etc etc... and then for I-140 and I-485 for the TX services center and if the VISA is current then you can add all the waiting time. Mostly it is about 2-4 yrs @ least. ===================================================== as always what do i know (o:

You need to have bachelors degree with 5 yrs of experience or MBA degree to be qualified for the EB2 Category. But the catch is will your position require such qualification and what is your coworkers qualifcation (if same position) Katrina, what position do you hold now? I have seen the case some people had to apply for EB3 even having Masters Degree.... I hear current retrogression is 2-4 years for EB2 and 4-6 years for EB3. This site will help you to find out more about occupation: http://online.onetcenter.org/find/ If everything goes right it will take from 3-6 months to get LC certified. here's the PERM guide I founduseful: http://murthyforum.atinfopop.com/4/OpenTopic?a=tpc&s=1024039761&f=2994050912&m=1591072501 http://www.NOTALLOWED.com got good info as well. Don't you get all this info from your counsel??? Just wondering :=) Good Luck

To the best of my knowledge, there's no retrogression on EB-2 unless you're a citizen of India, China or the Philippines. With PERM, you may be able to get the green card in 6 to 8 months, including the time taken for the labor certification... Good luck.

I have a brother who had a bad experience with Khagendra Chettri.....I don't recommend him.....he never had a time to answer questions........when you are attorney, you should be there for the client......I told him to switch the lawyer and he got his green card after 2,3 months.....I don't know how long he had to wait if Mr. Chettri was his lawyer.......The other attorney took it to the state rep to see why the case was taking too long............after push from every side, immigration was bound to process it quicker..... I am just giving my two cents of thought from what I have experienced......We always had our call answered from his assistant and we never got a solid answer and call back from him....he spent hefty amount of money just calling him.......... Anyway......just my two cents of thought here....no offense please........... Peace out, Ram Prasad
