rahulvai ! when is that election.

The election is going to be held on Sept. 16, 2005 (Bhadra 31, 2062). Are you the one of the members to vote dk?

By the way, Er. Kishor Shakya also claimed for the president post, unfortunately he was not given the chance this time.

this does not make sense to me..

if its Nepali engineer association election, should not nepali engineer in nepal be voting for it, why are you requesting sajha users to vote for it.

BTW I am a engg too and want to stand for president post what do I need to do for that.

If u r memeber of NEA, U can vote at Bangkok and Japan ( May be at different cities), Rest of the world, noway to vote but u can do a lot for democratic panel in this election.

साहुलजी,

तपाईँलाई नराम्रो लागे पनि एउटा कुरा गर्न लाग्दैछु म। म कुनै पनि प्यानलबाट टाढाछु। जो जो मलाई ठीक लाग्छ (प्रोफेसनल हिसाबले), उनैलाई भोट दिने बिचार छ। म अर्को हप्रा नेपाल जाने प्लान छ। सबैकुरा मिल्यो भने नेपालबाटै भोट पनि हाल्छु।

तर..

यो माथि १ नं भको मान्छे (सरोज देवकोटा) मैले भेटेकै हो भने चाहीँ मैले यस्लाई भोट दिन्न। यो मान्छेलाई मैले एउटा एकेडेमिक कामको लागी सिटिईभिटीमा भेटेको जस्तो लाग्यो (अर्कै मान्छे हो भने माफ पाँउ)।

कुरा सुरु गरौँ। मैले एकताका *Labor-Based Technology* का नेपालमा भका लिटरेचरहरु कलेक्सन गरेर एउटा लाईबेरी बनाएर राख्ने प्रोजेक्टमा काम पाएको थिएँ, लगभग शुण्य पेमेन्टमा। यसैकामको सिलसिलामा म यो मान्छेलाई म भेट्न जाँदा १ हप्ता धाउन लगायो, लगभग दिनैपिच्छे। १ हप्तापछि "कति पैसा पाईन्छ, यहाँका लिटरेचर दिएबाबत" भनेर उल्टै पैसा माग्न थाल्यो। मैले जतिनै प्रोजेक्टको उदेश्य र मैले पाउने पारिश्रमिकको प्रष्टकुरा राख्दा पनि यो मान्छेले मलाई केहि हेल्प गरेन। अन्य बिदेशी प्रोजेक्टको सहयोगमा मेरो काम आंशिक मात्र सफल भयो, कुनै नेपालीले पनि केहि हेल्प गरेनन्।

अब भन्नुस् राहुलजी, म यस्लाई भोट दिउँ कि के गरौँ?

Like many other associations in Nepal, NEA is also nothing more than a political assembly of engineers to serve the interests of political groups. It is not difficult to guess which political party this so called Democratic panel is going to represent. There may be other panels representing other power groups. All true engineers should be ashamed of such unprofessional conducts.

Tapain le bhaneko kuro kehi had samma sahi ho but you must have a prfessional organization especially country like Nepal. You and me together can make it less political. Aru lai gaali nagaram. Chunawa hune bhaye pacchi ali ali politics kaha hudaina ra, even there will be politics in your small family too.
