Mark my words the Indians will annex Nepal as soon as Nepal becomes just another dysfunctional Democratic-Republican country. Nepal already has large madhese population so they would happily go back to become part of India.

I think the biggest tragedy would befall on the Pahadis(Bahun-Chetri), if that is to happen. So India needs to be broken up BEFORE Nepal becomes a dysfunctioning democratic-republic and annexed by India.

Indian states such as Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh should be independent country and Nepali Pahad should join them for one Pahadi country, called Pahadistan or Parvatestan. We have our own race culture and language different from the desis and the bhotes. Mongol people of Nepal will unite with their Sikkimese and Bhutanese brothers to form the Bhotiya country. Madheshes will unite with their Bihari brothers to become the Madhesh country.

I really dont care even if Nepal gets annexed by either China or India. Nations rise and fall, unite and fragment. From the weakest to the most powerful nations in the history of the world have come into existence and ceased to exist.

Nepal didnt exist as a state until Prithivi Narayan Shah and who knows it might cease to exist as a state. By the way, both India and China are going to become the economic powerhouse of the next generation. People of different races who are currently a part of Nepali state can benefit a lot from the ever growing ecomonic opportunities of either China or India in the next generation if they choose any of the 2 sides.
