Ms Subedi livestreamed part of the road trip from Sydney to the Snowy Mountains before the grey Mazda 6, driven by her friend, crashed on the Monaro Highway near Cooma, just south of Canberra, about 3.40am on Sunday.

A NSW Police spokesman said the driver, also aged 22, lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a tree.

The 10-minute livestream shows the Ms Subedi singing and dancing merrily with her friends before the car slams into the tree, killing her and another passenger.

Ms Bhandari died as well after the sedan rolled multiple times, eventually landing on its roof.

Queanbeyan police inspector Sandy Green described the horrific scene as “life changing” for emergency services and was “absolutely tragic”, The Canberra Timesreported.

Friends and family have poured their hearts out on social media, with more than 300 comments and 70,000 views on the video showing Ms Subedi’s final moments.

“I am totally shocked, rest in peace dear,” wrote Rabin Sapkota.

“May (your) departed soul rest in peace and rest – get well soon,” wrote Saroja Thapa.

While others questioned how the accident happened.

But Rishi Acharya, a leader from the Nepalese community, was told by one of the survivors the driver had to dodge an animal on the road.
