Three Durbar squares of Kathmandu valley are the symbol of the ancient heritage of Kathmandu as well as Nepal. Those heritage sites reflects the cultural history of Nepal. Kathmandu is called as a capital of heritage as well as the city of temples. From the ancient time, many different families ruled over this valley. On the time period of different rulers they have made many heritages, cultural and religious architecture sites. There are three different major cities within the valley, named Kathmandu, Lalitpur(Patan) and Bhaktapur. Every major city represents different rulers and Durbar. Here is the deskription about those three Durbar squares of Kathmandu Valley which are also listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

1. Kathmandu Durbar Square
2. Bhaktapur Durbar Square
3. Patan Durbar Square
