I know most of the people from universities and all over are applying for TPS. But i think i would wait for this thing to have final decision.
On Monday, October 19, 2015, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is expected to publish the new STEM optional practical training (OPT) rule in the federal register. This rule, if enacted, would allow for STEM OPT extensions of up to 24 months, which is seven months longer than what is permitted under the rule it would be replacing. It would also improve "oversight over STEM OPT extensions by…requiring the implementation of formal mentoring and training plans by employers, adding wage and other protections for STEM OPT students and U.S. workers, and allowing extensions only to students with degrees from accredited schools." Upon its publication, the public will be granted 30 days to submit comments on the proposal.
Lets see which one would be more beneficial. Any comments??
