Any green card holder visiting Nepal from US can stay in US for up to a year before the green card gets cancelled. To stay for more than a year for up to two years, you need to apply for reentry permit before leaving US. If you stay in nepal for more than 6 months, the time of residency requirement for US citizenship begins from the day you return back.

Are you saying you are a GC holder and petitioned i130 for someone (your immediate relative)? In that case your stay of more than 6 months will not hamper your application.
