मैले F2A (Spouse of legal PR) अन्तर्गत ग्रीन कार्ड को लागि Dec 13, 2013 मा apply गरेको थिए / केहि समयमै मेरा सब documents फिर्ता आए / Rejection notice मा मेरो priority date current नभएको भनेर लेख्या थियो I-130 1 and I-485 मा, मैले दुइतै एकै चोटी सुब्मित गरेको थिए / मलाई चित्त न बुझेको कुरो के हो भने मेरो चाही सबै document फिर्ता आयो / मैले चिने जानेको र सुनेको आधार मा कसैको पनि फिर्ता आएको थिएन बरु USCIS तिरै documents बस्थ्यो अनि time आए पछि प्रक्रिया मा जान्थ्यो / मेर त फिर्ता पनि आयो अनि priority date पनि कहिले current हुने हो थाहा छैन र reapplication पनि गर्न पाको छैन / मेरो प्रस्न जान्ने बुझ्ने एबम experienced को लागि के हो भने : के मैले priority date लाइ current हुनलाइ कुरेरै बस्दा ठिक हुन्छ? अनि के documents फिर्ता आउनु स्वाभाविक नै हो? reject भाको हैन? मेरा सबै documents को किनारा मा स्टाम्प जस्तै हानेका पनि छन्, के मैले रिअप्प्लाई गर्दा त्यहि application submit गर्न मिल्छ? फेरी त्यो स्टाम्प हानेको form मा expiry date पनि छ जुन अब expire हुन आटेको छ /

के मैले priority date लाइ current हुनलाइ कुरेरै बस्दा ठिक हुन्छ? 

Santosh bro, u can't file i 131 and I 485 until and unless f2a category is current. There is no doubt that ur application is returned back by uscis... Ani bro don't compare ur case to your friends because each and everyone has unique case. I got my GC from f2a category applied on August 2013 when it was current..... Right now it's not current so u can't file nothing just wait for spouse citizenship or f2a to be current .

Did your check clear for I130? , Did you send a check for I485 as well? How about that check?
Was the rejection on I485 only or I130 as well ?
I guess these question's answer would be more helpful to properly understand your situation.

Sorry for hijacking your thread to ask my question.

I just submitted I130 for my spouse and I received my first notice. The check cleared a couple of weeks ago. But I had just sent the I130 forms. When should I send the I485 forms? When the PD becomes current or before that (after approval of I130).

When I check my status online with the receipt notice, this is the message I get.

On January --, 2015, we received your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number EAC*************, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by February 14, 2015, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Anyone care to shed some light on the process or better yet outline what happens next, I have been around the immigration forums but I guess I just wanted to get some pointers here as well.

Maile apply 130 and 485 sangai gare ani duitai firta aayo- whole package including a check. notice maa priority date current bhayepachi re apply garnu bhanya thiyo. ani ekchoti USCIS ko customer service phone garda (athak prayas pachi), priority date current nabhaer bhanne jawaf aayo. Priority date bhaneko tiniharule receive gareko date haina? accept/reject notice maa lekheko received date nai ta hola ni priority date? whole package nai firta aako ahile samma nasunera ho dar laageko chahi khaasmaa!

@danbahadur... It seems like you already got the receipt notice and they are processing ur i130 which would take several months. So all you need to do is wait for its approval.

You cannot file i485 unless the priority date is current even if i130 is approved. As of january 2015, people with priority date of April 2013 can apply for i485, so wait time is close to 2 years before you can apply for i485.
