Hi All,

Here is the case.....I am currently working with Company A with fulltime Job within 5-6 month Company B will buy Company A..And I will be working in same location...So I was just wondering what will have to my H1b do I need to transfer or anything else?..Is there anybody  in the same situation if so  please advice..

Hi KJ,

You do not need to file a transfer or anything in this case. The company B will have the asset purchase agreement which can be used to extend your h1b later. Right now, you are good with the same approval copy from A. If case you are travelling, you can just get a employment verification letter from Employer B stating they bought the company A and you are continuing at B.
