Sathi Bhai ho:
I am in USA and my Nepali passport is about to expire in few months. I am thinking to renew it now. I googled about the requirements and pretty much figured out the requirements for ordering a new passport. I am confused with the picture size though. I went to CVS and the FEDEX but both of the places were not aware of the picture size (35mm*45mm). They just print the passport photo of 2inch*2 inch size. I don't know where to look for that specific 35*45 pic (which is the requirement of Nepalese Embassy). Can you guys please suggest me on this? I appreciate your help in advance. Thanks.

Or you can take a photo yourself at your home with a digital camera on a light background (room wall). Go to photoshop or gimp(free) and edit it yourself. I did mine myself. Go to walmart to print on a 4x6 photo paper.
28 cents for six 35x45 mm pictures.

@collegefootball,
You can learn some tutorials and make it work. If you are stuck at particularly sth, lemme know.
Short tutorial,
1. Crop the image first (35mm x 45mm) at 300 resolution. Save it as jpeg on desktop
2. Open gimp> File> New>Click on Advanced Options> width 4 inches height 6 inches > X Resolution 300 > Y Resolution 300 > OK
3. File >Open> desktop passport size image that you cropped 35 mm x 45 mm earlier. This will open in a new window.
4. Now Ctrl +C to copy the image > Select the window from step 2. >Ctrl +V to paste the image on the window.
5. Move the picture with the move tool to the left. > Ctrl + V will paste the same picture again. >Move it to align to the right > Do the same two more times until you have four passport size pictures.
6. Export to desktop as jpeg
7. Print at walmart on 4x6 paper.
8. Pay 28 cents plus tax and checkout.
Good luck,

I submitted my passport renewal application just a few weeks ago. Here's what i did:
1. Went to a photo-studio (in a local mall here). They made me 35x45 mm size photos. In fact, they will make any kind of photo you want. It's not costly. They gave me 8 photos for 16 bucks.
2. For the A4 size paper, call them to mail it out to you. Since, I couldn't find A4 size here, i just hand-filled the applicaiton on the form they mailed.
