Hi,
I am a greencard holder and my wife is in Nepal. How long will it take her to get the card if i apply now? I heard that now it only takes about 2 and half years for greencard holders? Is that true or does it still takes about 5 years to get her greencard? Can you all please help me on this.
Thank you.

applying through GC needs to apply i-130 then visa should be available, what the furke said is correct, it was current few years back
now its backolog by 3 years i guess
if you apply right now, visa number will be available after 3 yrs that is 2016.

Green card holders can apply for their wives but it usually takes very long time because your case will be filed as
category 2a... Therefore you will have to wait for the VISA number to be available. It could be more than 7 years
as of current backlog. So wait until you become citizen if that pretty close. Thanx
