Congratulations to DH!!!! They truly were the champions! Their come from behind wins in the semis and finals were quite inspirational. I did read someone talk about what a fluke it was. Sorry my friend, that really was not a fluke. When DH dominated DC in every aspect of the game, how can you call that a fluke??? Anyway, the only disappointment from a fans stand point is that DH was not able to play against Dallas... unfortunately tuphan bowed out of the tournament in the early round.. the final was strange, it has to be noted that golden state played 2 games on saturday while DC and DH played 3... Also people dont seem to give enough credit to the second best team in ANA - MMC... Anyway, it was a privilege to watch the DC and DH game... thats what u call HEART and BALLZ... Jai Nepal

Buzz, I agree with you. New York did very well, it is too bad the organizers put them in a difficult bracket. They were leading DC the majority of the game. At the end, great DC had enough perseverance as usual to pull through with a win. Anyway, after watching all the games in the ANA 2007, here is my ranking: 1. DH 2. MMC 3. NYNYC 4. DC 5. Golden State 6. LA 7. Dallas (No disrespect to Seattle, Connecticut and the adolescent team that DC faced in the first round) For the players, here is my top 3 MVP Candidates: 1. Saurav - DH 2. Ninja - DC 3. Ritesh - DC

The only team you have forgotten to mention is Boston. We couldn't make it to LA this year, but next year we'll be there. Another fact, didn't the bro, first from the right in the picture above, play for NY last year? I know for sure because we played them two times in the NY convention.

Yah Boston definitely, I think they are on the same level as MMC. Nepali Baller, the guy on the right... he is the traitor from New York.

Its ironic how its all quiet now that the tournament is over. I guess everyone is a little shocked by the results. I never expected DH to dominate the way they did. Looks like Samsara bro and Bigballer were way off on their predictions....

Boston is a joke. But I have to admit they were wise...they each saved about 700-800 bucks and the embarrassment of first-round exit by not coming...I mean these guys are perennial losers...I remember last year these guys were nutting themselves just cause they made the semifinals..

Jeffrey, please dont be so insulting on this thread. FYI... Boston almost beat Dallas last year. I am sure they would have done fine had they decided to come to LA.

Emnitrader, you were the only one to pick Saurav and his teammates to win... I think you definitely deserve a medal... especially since everyone including myself was way off...

ANA = the biggest Nepali basketball tourney in US... ANMA = friends getting together to shoot baskets and scrimmage for fun...and eat dinner afterwards.. Comparing ANA to ANMA it like comparing the Master's or U.S Open to miniature golf...sure its fun, but it doesnt prove a thing. Maybe next year tho.
