Himal Singh Rai did his high school from Secondary Boarding School, Dharan. He used to stay at the hostel. He used to be a brilliant student up until 9th grade came first in every grade and the teachers thought he was going to be one of the SLC board toppers but suddenly in 10th grade he changed drastically and got his ears pierced and changed his hair and became a punk as they used to be called back in those days. I had not heard about his whereabouts till now. So are u saying he was studing in KTM and was involved in several gang fights??? I can't imagine how a person can change so much....from this brilliant student with a bright future to a gang fighter!!! I hope he is doing well now.....

He was still smart guy when he came to ASCOL. All those was in his college years at ASCOL around 1991, all these doesnot have anything to do with Himal but was all Tendy who thought he was DADA but Himal didn't let him show that off. I know his wording around that fight after scaring Tendi off he said Bhai I need to concerntrate on my studies because "Studies is my life but this guy who don't have a life and this is what he will be doing for rest of his life is to fight". He is right last time I heard, himal was in Singapore and finished his engineering and now working for some kind of company in UK.

I also remember DHak came to campus the next day with his bruised right eye.

I was in Bio (B) and and hung out at the cafteria and Basketball court. Anupam, Siddartha, suman Yonjan (Used to play for Freinds club of Kopundole), Prashanta Maharjan (from Kritipur). My self, were in the same team when we won basketball organized by the Unions. (Aaroo ko naam pani aauchha tara aaile na lim hola)
