Bahuns didnt get any chance to rule country before so they came in front to challenge rulers of nepal jus from 2007 if u remember before that only chettris ruled nepal. kathmandu was ruled by mallas before shah..it is unfair to say that kathmandu belongs to newars. because before mallas there were gopala dynasty, licchivi dynasty, etc.
on the eastern side like sunsari it is unfair to say that those places before belonged to kirats. because before kirat dynasty it was of sen dynasty. So, after 2007 only bahuns started showing theirs power. They were the one who provided freedom to nepal from ranas. They were the one who played important role to end up panchayat rule in 2046.
They are the one who played important role to eliminate kings power. SO why hatred against bahuns? R u all inferior to them, coz other did nothing. 2007= bisheswor prasad koirala remember this name. what can he do royals were never of netas in nepal. they fought against ranas to handover power to king but king betrayed them. bahuns r great.i m proud to b bahun

I dont' think its about bahunism in Nepal.

Bahun's or Brahmins if i may put it that way have valued education and is strong part of their culture. Education has kept them ahead in the game.
Yes educated people in general do tend to prefer and fight for democracy.

I don't think contemporary leaders have ever proposed bahunism.

In historical hindu context ; there is seggregation of castes and it should not apply in todays context.

See how dhotis are ahead in U.S ; its education and knowledge of markets. Not being hindu or bahuns.
The fact is no where in the world do people have equal access to education although Nations tend to claim it.

All bahuns are chor, gadha haru. They are the blood sucking parasites, because of them Nepal is still not develop. Bahun ko halla ra Kashi ram ko Gullla testai ho, sukera luturka latkeko.

always ppl who r mentally supressed protest against other class. we never made u down it is ur own mentality that is making u down. For example- u know that brain is almost same for all humans, difference is how u use it. If you go and talk about business with two "rai" guys(i m not picking up, i m just giving example)one will say i suck in business u know y i m rai n we don have that much brain. n if u go to another and talk abt it he might say lets do it n do a lot of profit. SO who is mentally supressed. Bahuns from centuries are more literate den others. Lessons were taken from bahuns. U know word sabhya? y do u jus luk at some bad points of some dirty leaders. U talk so freely today why? because some bahuns came front n stood still against ranas and shahs. i don say bahuns alone but majority were bahuns. we hear lots of stories abt gurkhas which r right. But if we go back n see history abt gurkhas many gorkhalis who gave theirs life for unification of nepal and fight against british, it was khas community. Bal bhadra kunwar, Bhakti thapa n so on. Before 800 years we were same. Because that time our community "khas" was buddhist so there was no bahuns or chettris. wat has non bahuns/chettris given to nepal?...I m not being racist, still as a gud bahun ko chora "sorry" if anyone is hurt. Just because this was too much. We never say anything that doesnt mean that u can say anything to us. There is certain line that shouldnt be crossed so don cross.we might b minority in some villages but r majority of the country. and as u all know majority always wins.truth is always bitter but is truth even if u try to hide it .Above statement by some racist mentally/phisically retard dude was racist but because of his illness i say nothing to him. you r doing freat job son. I agree with you in most of the points ..... you said bahuns are majority ...... I agree .... being majority there had and still have to be more and obvious contributions from bahun population for the development of nepal. The only example you gave was BP Koirala, ...... what was his contributions ......... I thought it was all about dharma bhakta, gangalal, sukra raj and others ........ can't forget ganesh man either ...... bahun people need not be angry ........... these r my personal questions to bahunkto ......... what is the percentage of bahuns in nepal ??? 30 ??? I don't know help me ........ but they occupy more than 90% of civil service ranks. Do you mean to say all of them got jobs because they r qualified ??? I know lot of the people who got scholorships despite getting 2nd, 3rd division in I Sc. The worst part is they all hail from this MAJORITY polulation of nepal .......... latest ... to my knowledge few months back SHAILAJA ACHARYA sounded like staunch supporter of king ......... now how easily she switched the stance ...... not only her view but was deemed qualified to be ambassador to INDIA ...... is it becoz of her qualification???

I agree that there are people from other casts too in the govt positions ............ most of them they have to earn it .......... while most of the bahuns get there in natabad and kripabad, only few earn it ...... one example is sailaja ........... there are endless examples on incompetent bahuns holding decent positions ....... by the way they change every four years or sooner .... but irony ...... one bahun replaces other.

Yeah, your point regarding Shailaja makes me think. Why we bahnuns always change our principle so quickly for personal benefits. Why don't we think about whole Nepal's benefit?

That was Hyoju. The crowd killed not Bijukchhe. It's not like Prachanda and Baburam ordered mass massacre in Nepal.

Bijuckchee was killed in Bhaktapur by a mass of locals, with umbrellas penetrating his body some 15 -20 yrs ago.

we humans don't get enough reasons to hate each other. Bahun vs. Newar. Bahun vs. kirat newar vs. outside ktm ppl pahadi gorkhali vs. terai madhesi and what not, but i think in near future we might see other differences. one of which can be hindu vs. muslim since muslim population is on the rise they will surely demand concessions as they always do.

I don't dare to compare Bijukche with prachanda / baburam duo? Hey, there are millions of people in nepal who have witnessed terror of prachanda / baburam. Still these crook leaders don't hesitate threatening to begin fresh killing of nepalese people in mass. Just remember what they did and said very recently, against JTMM, against appointments of embassador and HR office positions and so on. On the other hand, Bijukche has made very decent image being himself as an iconic good leader who does never compromise his stance for short term gains. He is not perfect but far better than other bahun leaders in display. Yes, Hyoju was killed in broad daylight but that was a conspiracy game plotted by Royal people to weaken bijukche's political grip in Bhaktapur. Marichman (the last panchey PM) and his company tried all their weapons but failed to find even a single proof against Bijukchhe despite they put Bijukche behind bar for years allegating that Bijukche was responsible for that murder. They chanted demand to execute Rohit alias Bijukche and nepal TV broadcasted that scene to put pressure on judicial system but they had to change their word later after they failed to find any evidence. They then told Bijukche did not stop his people blah blah, which is the same stinky Royal language some of you are repeating here. Shame on you.
