I really doubt anyone is loss with TESLA unless they spend when they peak. Even SO they could easily when they neared 2K. A lot favorable news came out today for TESLA- soft bank investment, sales in China, super computers, split and so on. It might even crossed 2K before the split.

Lost or gain in Tesla is tricky question to answer , I sold more than half pre pandemic because there were rumours stock market would collapse by kovid. As I had some good debts to pay . Yes , I sold them with profit but profit would have been much higher if I could have hold it . But that's only "If".

TPS2GC if you average it all you were not in loss. You know Sometime we lose patience with stocks. If anyone can predict the market good, have time to research more then needs to do option trading. One of my Fren, made 25K in a day with 5K gamble with TESLA. TESLA was 1350-1375 all day and news was out saying it be splitting. More people join the party, he made money. He got lucky and it was all coincidence. However with my limited understanding of stocks market, there are a couple companies that could jump like that at the moment and in coming days during this pandemics

The American pharmaceutical company who ever produces the vaccine first and used in market  is going to soared stock price.
Moderna got money to developed and jumped it's stock price to 91 from 18. In past I read some trouble with SEC and it's price is down to 67.
There are 9 pharmaceuticals company are engaged in producing covid vaccine.

I have an eagle eye in some of the pharma companies stocks but because of this failure leadership n lack of funding they are nowhere near to the vaccine . Swedeah UK or Russia will lead the vaccination. So I decided transfer some money to buy land in Nepal.

I think some pharmaceutical companies such as MRNE , SRNE could rise in coming days, but too many red tapes in our policies and Takes forever to give green signal to vaccines(6 months- year). Airlines, banks, cruises and travel should bounce back, but might a years or two. I’m worried some would never come back. I’m sure airlines would be saved govt, but other travel related companies who knows! With flu seasons still here and travel slowing down in fall and winter- it don’t look too good. In September there would not be a whole of stocks that you could easily bet on. With some soaring stocks splitting, they all look like long terms for now. The short sellers would move out of Apple and Tesla, and they would put money in some other companies, but I’m not seeing any companies. May be we could hear more split- google, Amazon, Chipotle any stocks above 500 up. Hopefully stocks market will correct itself to economy. I’m also inclined to buying land in Nepal. Could people be investing in golds? I heard Buffet bought other day. Not sure what other economist really think. I wanna know as well

Have been hearing that Market ll crash and it’s been a while market keeps soaring..
The pandemic couldn’t crash the market, means, need something stronger and crazier than pandemic to crash the market.

Market keep soaring for IT techs, some grocery chains and pharmaceutical companies. Somehow wealth been shifted to other areas, and numbers are still good. I’m saying in terms of gains and investment perspective. It won’t crash in September, but activities could be lowered. Historically, September and October are worst months for stocks, it’s October when market crashes. Also stocks have been cash cows for rich and wealthy folks because interest rate is lowest it could be. For stocks market to crash there should be massive unemployment, loan default, big banks loans, shut down of small and big companies. With federal govt helping stimulus to people and company, it’s not happening right now.

Tomorrow will be the day! Make a decision a day before the split, don’t wait till Friday- Friday brings so much fear and uncertainty. Why I think the stocks will dip tomorrow and Friday. I could be wrong. There is a reason TSLA went up rapidly a week before the split day. Some investors made good money from the split news to until today. With swing traders selling their stocks it should caused to dip. It is well planned moved by swing traders. It’s always better to wait, let the split go on then take a huge risk. I wanna see what others think.

I heard feds will stop buying equities, is that correct? If so, there will be a correction coming. I am hoping to get back in the market for long term investing (mutual funds, apple msft stocks etc) what do you think would be a good time to get back? I missed the last rally.
