Happy Monday guys!!!

When I was little girl, my grandfather used to read me Ramayana. The story used to fascinate me. Now after all these years, I want to know the story from Ravana’s perspective. I’ve been following a TV serial based on Ravana and I’m finding it really interesting.

It’s been a boring Monday morning. Wanted to open a new thread to see how my friends in Sajha were doing :)

yesterday i was readin about hanuman and i was amazed to read that he had a son ...........haha .......hanuman ko pasina bata janmeko re........
aba bhramhachari ko pani chora...........???
j bhaye ni ramailo huncha yesta kura padna...

pasina baata pani janmido raicha...lol

khai janmido rahecha...............
the story goes like this.......
when hanuman was escaping from Srilanka after his tail burning
his pasina dropped in to the sea and fish ate it or drank it ...........
then the fish was pregnent ..............haha
when the fish was caught and taken to king's palace( ravana ko bhai ko rajya ho kya ho) for serving............they found baby inside . the baby was half fish and half monkey..
later he also fought with hanuman......... during war.........
i cant belive how fast he grew................

but i do somewhat believe in ramayan , mahabharat.............
our teacher used to talk about the 10 immortals including hanuman............and i use to imagine that may be yeti cud be hanuman...........haha

Now that is what I call imagination running haywire :) Hanuman = yeti ?? lol..never crossed my mind..quite possible though..

just imagination ................. who knows?????

yeti's description is somewhat similar to hanuman...............i know its just bullshit.....
but i cant give up believing ..........

Ramayana is todays' Star Wars triology (relationships: Luke = Ram, Darth = Ravan, Leia =Sita. Darth an Luke are father and son, Ram and Ravan are in-laws and similarly Sita and Leia are both the villains' daughters...Darth abducts Princess Leia)...Classic tales of good guys turned bad who wait for their karma to finally destroy them.

but i am sure that no story can lead the purans and epics written in ancient days......
there are so many purans and epic and one cannot write them all since it was a lot of imagination(if not true) and writing (no computer, no pen),
but the amazing part is every purans and epic are related ..............how???

Hanuman had a son Makardwaj.... his mom was incepted when Hanuman was flying around looking for that jadibuti for Laxman Ji..

was at work, bored...read every single post in this thread...took me abt 2 hrs..on and off!! but very interestin info ppl...unfortunately i don have anythin to post...but i'm gonna watch ravana frn now on..i see it on zee tv...but never cared to watch it before!:)

ya do watch it bored keti..the serial it self is not a great one but the story and is interesting..we'll discuss about it once u see it..:)

I wonder if Bajrang Dal or other extremist Hindu factions in India ever protested this TV show. Does anyone have any info?

There have been numerous saints who have claimed to see Hanuman in modern times, notably Tulsidas (16th century), Sri Ramdas Swami (17th century), Raghavendra Swami (17th century)and Sri Sathya Sai Baba (20th century).
may be he is yeti.................
