Calling all the Argentina fans to express their opinions and share their thoughts on how Argentina fares in Copa America 2007. Argentina are to play the U.S. in 2 hours time and I predict it to be an easy stroll on the park! However, the U.S. team's recent gold cup victory along with the fact that the U.S. hasn't played Argentina in recent years is going to make the game dodgy for the Argies but a setback is highly unlikely ( god forbid ). My prediction is an easy 2-0 victory for Argentina. My starting XI : Abondanzzieri, Ayala, Milito, Zanetti, Heinze, Mascherano, Cambiasso, Riquelme, Messi, Crespo, Tevez. Wondering where you're going to watch it? I've got the solution too. http://www.univision.com/contentroot/uol/30deportes/content/jhtml/copa_america/NOMETA_partidosEnVivo.jhtml ( thank me later ) P.S. Crystalcracker, if you want to be recognized for your knowledge on football then try to come up with something of your own in stead of copying the probable line ups off the internet and try to pose as if you're Argentina's Assistant manager! I should've figured that the way you included Veron in "your" lineup, something was fishy....and it was only yesterday that I saw the probable line up in the internet! No offenses! Exercise your own ideas, don't copy others and brag to be the father of that idea! Cheers! Argentina!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://www.univision.com/contentroot/uol/30deportes/content/jhtml/copa_america/NOMETA_partidosEnVivo.jhtml That's the link to watch Copa America! It's a website run by Mexican channel Univision and all the matches are broadcast live w/ Spanish Commentary! Furthermore, there's no need to download anything, it's all ready to go! Stoner, when some serious talk is going on , why do you need to be a smart ass and try to disrupt the rhythmic discussion? The way Argentina has been playing this Copa and the way they played in the WC, Only a WORLD XI can compete against them let alone a feckin Brazilian B. Miracle, a rare off day and the referee ruling against Argentina on the Final can come in handy to save Brazil from this Argentina side that means some serious business! P.S. Even Argentina's B team comfortably compete against Brazilian A team! I know my football, do you?

Neither m I an Argentina Fan nor a Brazilian fan!! I sooo wud have loved to c Ex MANUstar Forlan leading his team Uruguay to the Glory but too bad he and his team cudnt close out in the penalty shootout against Brazil!! Anyways now I go for current MANU star Hienze and To be MANU star Tevez to beat the hell out of Brazil!! Hope Hienze stays with MANU tho I think Evra is better than him in that position!!! Abt Messi, I dont know why I dont like him but I dont like!! May b bcoz I m fed up with hearing his name far too often!!!

Ever since the 1986 World Cup, Argentina was MY team...I shed a tear on seeing Maradona cry when they lost the 1990 Finals and was disheartened in their early round losses in subsequent World Cups. However, last night was the first time that I ever felt differently. Looking at the Mexicanos, I for the first time, I let my bigotry and racist emotions do the analysis...Why on earth was I rooting for the white guys when these Chicano cats looked like us? They looked a lot like the Nepali dudes I've known all my life...And, these fellas had stout Nepali build (way smaller than the Argentinians), had less speed than them and we're more willign to play dirty. But, nevertheless though my heart was all for Argentina, my mind somewhat was rooting for the underdogs to come through. Mexico was severly manhandled yesterday but I'm glad they went down fighting. Argentina is perhaps the finest team in the world right now and to have displayed the type of game they did was commendable. I'm rooting mind and heart for Argentina in the Finals though...Never ever liked Brazil though as they've always been the overhyped team still hangin on to Pele's glory days.

Samsara Bro, you always seem to say the right thing. I could not agree more with what you just wrote. The only thing I would like to add is that Argentina also has its share of players that look like us. You ever notice that Maradona, Tevez and Riquelme dont look too caucasian?? About Brazil, LOL, most over hyped team definitely. They have only 3 World Class players and unfortunately for them, 2 decided not to participate and the 3rd is on the bench.

Anselmo, my schoolmate, tells me when Brazilians play Argentinians they are totally different and they take the meaning of best and great to a newer and higher wrung. They inherently peak in swagger and energy level with the smell of Argentinian blood. They all live and thrive to rout their arch nemesis in the most humiliating manner. And In recent memories, they have managed to prove that, exception to the wcup qualifier in Argentina where it was otherwise. The otherwise will be repeated on Sunday for Brazil to grieve and to convey the message, "This time we are better than you in all aspects of the game. Go bring your big guns next time and we will inflict the same fate . " PS Heinze's goal was a clean one- referring to MT's thought on 1st goal

I thoroughly enjoy south american, european, african.. whatever-ean football.. I dont know why Brazil never give that much "bhau" to COPA America as the Argentines.... Since Argentinian team has a pool of players way ahead than the ones in Brazilian (except a few.. ) - there is no doubt on Argentine Victory. However, in football however you play - you cannot win unless you strike a goal. I bet Argentines are again ahead in this case May the best team win.

Argentina is arguably the most skillful team in the world with Messi and Requileme being the best striker and playmaker. The performance that they have put together in the Copa America sets the standard for the rest of the world to envy and imitate. A lengthy drought of a major Championship Trophy, which is about to be broken on Sunday, is the torment that they have been carrying on their back for a quite some time. They are not just one or two men team like Brazil, who will come up with an excuse of missing superstars Kaka and Ronaldinho for their defeat in Final. Argentina is more about teamwork than individual charisma - their second goal against Serbia in WC ’06 signifies the proclamation. I can’t wait them to humiliate Brazil with 4-0 score in the Final. Go Argentina!!

doesn't matter how skillful they are, they choke at crucial moment. Like in last world cup.

Yeah Argentina are chokers No doubt about that . Even the last COPA they had the best team but how the hell did they let Adriano Score that goal... and equalize in the last minute. But I think They will win it this time. I am pretty sure about it. I think the problem they have is they believe in slow builds up. They are not the direct kind but keep on passing and passing loooking for that ultimate goal which is a joy to watch but sometimes u wish they would have shot. Still they have the best team now arguably in the whole of South America. Brazil looks lost not without Kaka and Ronaldinho but i felt without Roberto Carlos and Cafu. They are trying to attack through the middle and the width is not there. So it was easy for Mexico to defend. Guess ALves, Robinho and Diego have to be on their best form if they want to make a match out of the final. AND HOW I HOPE THE NEW BOY ANDERSON PLAYS IN THe FINAL For all i see its Argentina 3-Brazil-0.
