i don't deny he was gotten by a good delivery but still he is supposed to get better deliveries in tight games haina? i mean that is quite expected ni. they work hard in and out of the field to take the key players out as early as possible, don't they? i am not being harsh on him alone. it's a game and defeat is a part of it...

anyways, whom r u gonna support from now on, if at all u're going to follow the WC ? hehe....have to say, it's pretty shocking and sad for cricket lovers of the south asian belt to see the two asian power-houses getting knocked out in the first round...

Flips: Even though I was cheering for Lankans, I really wanted India to win not beacuse I like them but I wanted to see some good matches being played in the Super 8. But this doesnt mean Bangladeshis dont deserve to be there but just imagine..Okay, they might upset a team but everyday is not Sunday..I'm not offending any Bangladeshi supporters here but come on...Well whatelse can I say...now we're bound to watch games like Aus against Irish...SA against BAN....NZ against Ireland....anyway...I hope it'll be better in the semis. Lets hope so. But it really was a very good performance by the Lankans. They really deserved to win. :)

Loote Sir - Thanks for putting up that picture. That wicket was such a delight to watch as a "Cricket" fan but at the same time was not-so-delight to witness it as an "Indian Cricket" supporter. Btw, thank you for the tissue paper. :-)

Legitimate it is that every individual has the liberty to voice his/her opinion. It is acceptable to find that you along with thousands of cricket fanatics having different opinions about little man's caliber.If everyone go for same player, who is going to applaud for other talents, hoina? :-) Yes, good performances are expected in games such as that otherwise there would not be any difference between WCC and Ranji Trophy, would it be? Btw, if fernando had bowled a bad delivery, it might have gone for the boundary line. Above all, why this Little man is the talk of the town when there are ten other individual in the team. Why don't you talk about how irresponsibly Ganguly went for a shot which was unnecessay. All he had to do was play the balls on the ground. Anyways, in the end Lankans efforts were paid off.

As a "Cricket fan", I find pleasure watching Akram bowl those rever swingers, Waqar forcing his batsmen to play his yorkers, Ponting giuding his pull-shots to the boundary for four, Jhonty Rhodes flying all over the field, Murali pitching the ball outside the off stump and swirling back to the leg stump ( Damn, he is a demon when he bowls round the wicket) as much as I find watching the Little Man playing effortlessly. The history of his brilliance has been already written/witnessed whether people accept it or not. It's their choice. And yes enjoy his game while he lasts! :-)

hehe...didn't think you'll take my comment so seriously. apology if i offended any indian team supporter or a cricket love for that matter. i myself am a big fan of tendulkar. there were times when he was revered as a god but then he is a human and is therefore prone to mistakes. the delivery from fernando which did him was nothing of a classic nature by any means-- it was just an ordinary delivery which he failed to deal with better. not that i intend to, but it just makes me believe that as a batsman, he was/is a lil' too overrated (?).

anyways, i am on the same page with you regarding appreciating the beauty and talent of the game. if he had played better - contributed in a partnership or two - and pulled a win for india, i would have written a paragraph or two of appraisal for him. but then again, it's a team game and contribution from other players is also equally important, especially after knowing that over the last few years, he has proven nothing to be of a sort of a genius. moreover, loss is a big part of any game even when you have tendulkar or lara or for that matter- bradman in your team. :P
