Hey everyone, how do you like acoustic songs...i can't live without them... i have created this thread to recommend acoustic songs to the all acoustic song lovers.. i'll surely recommend one song a day ... 1. Blower's Daughter by Damien Rice.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOXMiHh8isg
Oops! but I think the usernames in Sajha ARE case-sensitive :S….. Anyway, its all good…..:)
Okay, as I am figuring our tastes could be similar in other genres too, I was wondering what if we shared wht kind of music we basically listened to…of course besides acoustic ïŠ â€¦I’ m jus so curious….<:o) I love almost all kinds but M still not being able to open myself to RnBs and country, ….of course I can bear them when partying <:o) else….it’s a NONO.Yet to be precise, alternative rock, alternative, folk pop, progressive rock, experimental and classic rock and of course INDIE (mellow , post punk (punk rock), sometimes loud and experimental)…oh that was not at all precise and everything is there hahaha. I hardly listen to Indian music but I do enjoy listening to some Nepali music. The few mentionable ones are – Arun Thapa, Deepak Kharel, Deep Shrestha, Narayan Gopal, Aruna Lama, Gulam Ali, Tank girl, Rai ko Ris, Robin n looza….n some more… Please do write….I was wondering if we should choose the common genre for all of us here and start a thread similar….what say? Or, I dunno hahaha m such a music freak…I wanted to begin with some Indie music or Alternative….but I wonder how many people in Sajha listen to Indie….…
Here is a beautiful cover by The Corrs for Everybody Hurts
back again with beatle's song..across the universe(Jaya Guru Deva).. i heard this song first time while watching movie I'm Sam.. i got eddicted to it since then..
Crapmandu, nice pick again...( has become a cliche already haha)...
aba ati crappy bhayo hai.crapmandu...ati rag garyo k. I jus wrote etro mahabharat regarding taste in music....and ur ignorance seems to me like "wht the heck". Is it actually so boring? :S Well, i thought 'twud be interesting to share :) please share....."sharing is caring" ;o)
well, i registerd as crapManDo and once i logged in as crapmando and it worked..that's y i thought user name are no case sensitive.. well, they might have added new validation for it then.. oh well.. i know you are 'so says i' ..let rest of the people know you by 'so ya si' .. hehe.. sound something like 'soya sauce'.....chikiti china the chinese chicken..hehe.. just kidding... but it reminded me of this prank call..
hey..its not like 'wat d heck' and neither its boring.. but its just akward typing message and posting here and refreshing every minute waiting for new posting.. we could have effective conversation we go to any messenger service or chat room.. and its good idea to be in touch bit more frequently.. we have almost same musical taste..yes in deed, shaing is caring..so we can take care of each other more from messengers..hehe.. see ya there.. ciao..
oh Crap! (hehe sorry :P no offense..but a cute nick instead <:o)) If we discuss on msn, we will be secluding TM, Girl interrupted, Sajhauser, rockend and the rest sajha users... n they will not be able to experience the sharing and caring part and of course many other sajha users who only read ...:o) my two cents.
Hankhora seems to be alternatives lover...gud song.
well, fair enough..its good to care everybody..the mahanbani of the day sharing is caring and care TM, GirlInterrupted,Shajha user,Rockend and rest of the sajha user..... hehe.. well, lets talk about my musical taste.. same as yours.. nepali, english, and i do listen to hindi(usually indian classical, rock and ghajal-don't get shocked ;-) )..as long as songs are good to my ears i listen to anything(even japanese or Farasi..).. lately, this old nepali song called 'sangala Ghumto haru' by narayan gopal is stuck in my head..
Humm, Hankhora, as a matter of fact, the original version has always been my fav one. But the one by the corrs isnt bad either. However, sometimes while posting, I seem to have weird preference of live and unplugged version ( ONLY sometimes hahaahha! like today :P)...thnks for the song.
Crapmandu, No, m not surprised by ur mentioning of gajal. Once in a while, I like listening to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Gulam ali and there is this Pakistani (female) singer...whose name I cant rem rite now. I listen to some Irish bands too and have liked some French songs...(very few though). I turn very unpredictable sometimes :P. Afterall, its all bout music..n i dont think music has any language :)
As for your song by Narayan Gopal, sadly I don't have it....I was looking for "aakhako nind " by arun thapa.
Last but not the least...I think m done with my posts for the day! geeezz i have my finals tomorrow ...hahaha
okay here is my i-cant-get-enuff-of-it for the day!
