Game 1: NYY Prediction: Game 2: BOS (If Pedro plays upto 7th innings) Game 3: BOS Game 4: BOS (If Curt Schilling's pitching) else NYY Game 5: NYY Game 6: BOS If Curt Shilling's knee doesnt get better then NYY will win game 4 Game 7: BOS (cause Curt Schilling will definitely play this one) BOS: 4 NYY: 2 BOS: 4 NYY: 3 (If Curt Schilling does not play game 4) Mussina pitches again at game 5 so they will win. NYY ain't got no pitching line up. Great defence is always better than great Offence. And Boston has both end pretty lined up. Anyways, let's see all ya predictions too.

Poor guys, AX and Casey00, do you have anything to say now? I told you all ..i'll let the team shut u up. Did u see my prediction... even they were down 3 games i always beleived in 'em... So AX i thought u were saying something like "what do you want me to say Yankees gonna lose next 2 games to Red Sox ??? you outta your mind???" hahahaha... now look who is outta their mind. Man, you just looked at the stats... stats is nothing but the past... having a great stats don't mean shit if you can't hit the ball on a crucial moment. Now, i hope this series will teach you a lesson. And CASEY00 you gave us couple of reasons why yanks are on the top ... but go and read your points again... you'll see how the BOS team made each of your point dissapear in a vile dust. Anyways, i don't wanna put more Noon-KHORSANI in your GHAU so don't worry... you always got a next year. BOSTON_SOX the winner. HISTORY has been made.... history for best win and worst lose. Go SOX.

"Every accomplishment seems impossible in the beginning." Red Sox did it. Well in a game some one has to win and some one to lose. But the fact of the matter is how these Red Sox people did not lose their hearts and minds and "beleived". Greatest comeback and win for the RS nation while greatest and collosal collapse for the YANKEES. NY must be a ghost town. BTW where is George STEINBRENNER? Embargo on TV?

guys, i do not live in either Boston or NY but moments on sports like these make me delirious. last night was better than sex, god and heaven! just the history and sense of impending relief. i will tell my children where i was when the SOX finally won at the Yankees Stadium and Oh! what a way to end it!!! here is something from BOSTON GLOBE that caught my eye: Across the region, children in pajamas and Red Sox shirts stayed up way past their bedtime, posting runs on homemade scoreboards and popping balloons on which they had drawn faces of Yankees players. Fans across the region celebrated with family members, both living and dead. At the Breezeway Bar and Grill in Roxbury, Jack Wilkins yelled, 'We got 'em! We finally got 'em!" as he watched the game with three generations of his family. ''First thing tomorrow, I'm going to my father's grave, and I'm going to sing, 'Who's your daddy?' " a reference to the chant that Yankees fans used to taunt Red Sox pitcher Pedro Martinez. A few miles away, near Fenway, Mark Von Duyke was pushing his wife, Joan, who uses a wheelchair, across the Brookline Avenue overpass above the Mass Pike. ''This is the happiest day of our lives, except for the day we got married," Mark Von Duyke said as the cheering crowds parted to let the couple pass. ---- the complete article is @ - http://www.boston.com/news/local/articles/2004/10/21/fan_anxiety_turns_to_delirium_rowdiness/ --- oh...that was so real....mG.

It was a roller coaster ride for a week like last year. Better team won. Boston was impressive; they fought hard after 0-3 hole. They broke the record after being down 0-3. Records are meant to be broken. Congratulation to the Red Soxýý I see lots of changes in Yankees next year especially pitching and bench. I hope they will do some creative way to sign El Duque. He is the only player I want back who are potential free agents in Yankees roster. Here's potential Yankees Free agents list: Miguel Cairo - 2nd baseman Tony Clark - 1st baseman John Flaherty - Catcher Orlando Hernandez - Right handed Pitcher Travis Lee - 1st baseman Jon Lieber - Right Handed Pitcher Esteban Loaiza - Right Handed Pitcher John Olerud - 1st baseman Ruben Sierra - Out Fielder/Designated Hitter Tanyon Sturtze - Right Handed Pitcher Enrique Wilson - 2nd baseman Yankees need to get quality left hand starting pitcher and set up man and 2nd baseman and Center Fielder Potential Free Agents in the market that Yankees need to pursuit: Starting Pitcher - Carl Pavano, Russ Ortiz, Pedro Martinez, Eric Milton, Brad Radke, Matt Moris, Al Leiter(???) 2nd baseman - Jeff Kent, Bret Boone, Eric Young, Roberto Alomar(???) Out Fielder - Carlos Beltran, Magglio Ordonez, Jermaine Dye, J.D. Drew (???), Moises Alou I will be happy with any of those players in each position. Yankees fans always have a trust in BOSS, he wants to give the best for his fans. Yankees, thank you for the wonderful season ..........

it's good to do Monday morning Quarterbacking after your team victory..... it's a game one team wins and other one loses. It's your first trip to World Series after 18 years so I won't be surprised if it takes another 18 years.... another BILL BUCKNER in the club house???

BOB RYAN- The boston globe... Derek Lowe! Derek Lowe is why sport is great. A Derek Lowe saga is what separates Sport from Entertainment. Sport is not scripted. There is no play list, no repetition. The great element in Sport is the unknown. We love these games because we do not know what to expect when they start. We also love them because we can never be sure where our heroes are coming from. Right now it's hard to imagine any more unlikely candidates for this kind of heroics than a guy who was bumped from the starting rotation prior to the Anaheim series and whose playoff role was fuzzy, at best. --- but last night. six innings and 1 hit! LOWE! i dont paticularly like bob ryan or his guff but this is exactly why i watch sports...sports is more than scripts. these emotions of joy, hope and wonder is nowhere more pronounced or more real than in sports miracles. i remember last year the game betwn. T'wolves and the Kings in the regular season, when KG sank 2 , three-pointers to send the game to overtime in less than 10 seconds and won the game for us. and now the SOX do this! this is too real to submit to factual scrutiny or ponder over plans for next year's Yankees' rotation. AX bro, give us sometime, atleast till the World Series is over, to savor history and JUST celebrate, puleeze...we deserve it. mG.

mindgames, thanks for the link. Enjoyed reading the articleý..Last nite win was really big thing for the Red Sox nation. I understand why they are celebrating last nite win like they won the World Series, coz they donýt get to go that far that often...... These guys will have one good old story to talk about to their kids and grandkids which their fathers and grandfathers never had that opportunity. For us Yankees, it was just another game. It was not our year....Mark your calendar Oct, 05, Yankees will be there as always. We are still the ONLY team to win the World Series 26th time :)

AX, yeah i believe that you when you say " it was just another game. " yeah so so so true! would you mind checking the last hundred years of baseball and find a team that lost a 7 games series after a 3-0 lead. but hey it was just another game for the mighty Yankees and you all can start shuffling the roster for next year. AX, man admit it, every loss is more than just a game. for boston it means the last 18 years and the the last 9 decades have NEVER been "just another year" of disappointment. every wound adds to the overall hurt. but still they come back each year with new hope. it was NOT just another game and everyone knows it. if the bosox had won in 5 or 6 or if it had been anyone beside SOX vs. NY--- even then it would not have been just another game for the true fans. but precisely because it was REDSOX and NOT orioles or twins that staged the greatest comeback in history against your team; it is much much much more than just a game. IF you think it was just another game, A. Either you are just deflecting the pain. (totally understandable:) OR B. you are NOT a Yankees fan at all. your choice, mG.

mindgames, I agree. It's a big win for the Red Sox nation. Red Sox Nation seems to have hit the big time Lotto. Personally, losing to Diamondback in 2001 world series was more painful. We were 3 outs from winning the 27th World Series title.

Celebrate Boston Celebrate Boston celebrate !!!!! that was so beautiful, absolutely beautiful. It was like killing a DEMON. The only series in baseball as good as this one was back in 1995 when my Bravos won the WS.

ubiquitous: The better team prevailed. No complains. But the Sox didn't spank the Yanks, they had to play their hearts out to win the series. Well the last game was dominated by the Sox but you could also say the same thing about Game 3. Finally the Sox have made to the W series...I wonder if they will win it all. I would lke to see Astros kick thei ass...I am sick of Sox now heheh. Yanks problem: The pitched sucked big time..Kevin Brown put them in pressure from the start...GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....and Yankee batters just couldnt do it...Last game was did lot of injustice to the way series was going... The Yanks will go for Beltran and bolster their bullpen...Hope they get some ace pitchers..

New York tabloids greet Sox win with disbelief, bitterness Oct 21, 04:49 BOSTON (AP) - New York Yankees fans woke up grumpy this morning -- we have some of them in sajha too:( -- and the local tabloids helped keep them in a bad mood. The New York Daily News announced "Hell Freezes Over" in their story about the Yankees' collapse in the A-L-C-S. One columnist called last night's loss to the Red Sox the worst in franchise history. The New York Post exclaimed "What a Choke!" and referred to their pinstriped patsies as the "Damned Yankees." Newsday's headline was "I Got You Babe." One writer said that when the Yankees built the most expensive team in history, they forgot to acquire a heart. RedSox...We have heart... no doubt, not anymore! Now ready for the "WORLD Series!" mG.
