How long does it take to get I485 approved in most of the cases?

Out of curiosity and not trying to change topic. But has anyone applied or know anyone who has applied for GC through employer solely based on their TPS status?

Mine is solely based on TPS status. My application for h1b did not get picked in the lottery twice. I was about to go back to school, then TPS happened. So my employer applied for GC after that. Labor was filed at end of July 2016. I had nothing but TPS.

Have you received your 485 approval yet? I have the same thing. H1 didn't happen and I ran out of my F1 for about 1 month until TPS happened. Have just applied for GC. I am wondering if anyone has successfully received GC through TPS even being not in status before TPS.

I got a situation. I will really appreciate if someone provide me some good advice. I am solely on TPS EAD which is going to expire on December 26, 2016. I recently applied for I-765,I-131 and I-485 through EB2. Receipt date for all documents are October 31, 2016. Check already cashed out. I am desperately waiting for EAD card to come before December 26. I haven't received any fingerprint notice yet.
Anyone in the same boat just waiting for GC EAD without applying TPS EAD?
Is it ok to work with expired TPS EAD as stated in Federal register?
Or to be in safe side should i apply for TPS extension for EAD?
I would really thankful to you guys for any kind of inputs.

Though I am not in TPS, they could be using ur recent biometric that you did for TPS so you may not have received ASC notice.Also, as check has been cashed, you will receive notice very soon. This is just my personal thoughts based on my experience.
I still believe that you will hear something about GC EAD very soon so there would not be need of TPS EAD. But, still to be in safe side, consult with your Attorney who filed ur GC and ask for the best option

I was on TPS only. It took 5 months and 29 days to receive green card since 140 & 485 filing date.

I got the receipt for i485, ead and ap on November 8th. My biometric is scheduled for Dec 15th. I got the notice early last week.

My case was routed from TSC to Nebraska. My lawyer got the receipts today for I485, I765 and I131. When can I expect to receive notice for biometrics?

did your check cashed? My check got cached within a week of submission and I already receive fingerprint notice

As per my lawyer check was cashed. Check was from lawyer.

On November 28, 2016, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number LINXXXXXX. Our Nebraska Service Center location is working on your case. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

You should be receiving it very soon within this week.
I saw that message last week and received fingerprint receipt last week

my RD is 15th november. anyone knows when i might get my biometric and EAD?

I485 receipt notice from USCIS : December 2nd.
Date check encashed : NOV 22, 2016
Date for biometric appointment :December 15th (But I already completed on 7th. Early walked-in)
Date when EAD/AP issued : TBA
Date of GC approval : TBA

My check was cashed on Nov 28th, I still have not received biometrics notice.
