Prashant's performance today was much better than last couple of performances. He sang well, took great care of notes and pitches. He needed it and it came about at a time when he needed it most. Prashant knows he has a large number of fan following him and would vote for him irrespective of his performances, but he also knows that he needs to gain much more confidence on stage. However, in order to win him the idol, he needs to put in more superlative performances.

Wow, what a show Amit is putting up man. He is going from strength to strength. I still remember...he started it from the Gala round..he sang 'In Dino' and he hasn't stopped ever since. One of the reasons why Amit is getting stronger is that he has been very prudent about his song choices. Perhaps our own gorkhali brother can learn a thing or two from him about song choices.

I see another girl heading out next. I would say Deepali or Puja.

In the same site one of the polls has Prashant the favourite to win the Indian Idol
and the other poll has Prashant to be the most likely to be eliminated in Gala 5 itself!

sahayog, the favorite to win the idol poll was started from the beginning of gala round and you can still see your charu there; but the poll above was just for gala 5, which reflects the change. Just my opinion.

Not fair. And what do they see in Ankita's.Her voice is too thick...and she always get the best comments from the judges. They are seriusly trying to get rid of prashant. SUCKS

absolutely......they r really tryin to back upp prashant,,ankita is too bad for romantic songs her voice is only good fo' item songs like Chamma Chamma ...n what the hell judges r sayin she is good.....and see...,,i didnt find Amit was also good.....not a gr8 voice.......Did u guys realize he is singin from the last couple of shows.....only pick from Anu n Udit's songs????? ....but no matter what ...once again i really appreciate prahsant... today's song....thats gr888

In that case, it is definetly something to worry about. Prashant, I guess is losing either his voice or his fans.
But IMO Prashant sang pretty well today. We are certainly looking at 2 gurls and 6 guys in the next round as its time for either Deepali or Puja to leave.

That's really bad to know about Prasant. wot I feel about him is he doesn't seem to have that burning kind of desire to be on the top.After 'YA ALI' performance, rest performances are just so so..And his song selection really sucks.
Anyway,hope he bounces back before its too late.

When I watched today's eposide, I think Prashant and Amit sang very well. But one got the standing ovation from all judges as well as they think he will win where as Prashant didn't get good comments. I think the reason behind is Amit sang very very popular song which almost everyone knows by heart but Prashant sang a song which is not that popular plus Prashant said Openly he success is Nepali's success in an interview. I think deep inside judges couldn't digest this. I think no matter how well he sings, he won't get good comments from judges and he will never get standing ovation from these bias judges. I hope he wins and teach the lesson for these bias judges.

i dont think udit is biased but he wants prashant to be better than the rest and he is worried that prashant is not improving a lot.

dont talk about alisha she has now become so recessive in the jury bench nobody listens to her

javed wants a pure indian dhoti to win (neither chang or prashant) he is a pure racist

anu wants to have his full power on the show and he is actually distracting the audiances. if you notice every contestents also take interest in his comments and now the anchors are also lil mad about the way he comments (what the hell he doesnot let anybody speak their opinion)


the bottom line is prashant is not bad, he deserves and has the capacity to be indian idol

I say again, accept the fact guys, Prashant may be in top 5 but not the best. Amit, Ankita and Emon are definietly better than him. I believe, to support someone despite of him being not the best just because he is from your race is equally racist to opposing someone because he is not from your race.

Ankita sucks, is that the voice to be applauded ?
