Dyamn, I have always perceived myself to be an intelligent person, capable of arrive at decisions with an objective point of view. Going by your definition, if I agree 33% of the christians are brainwashed...don't you think the 13.4 hindus and the 19.6 muslims who have strong faith in their beliefs are also brain washed. They too are as convinced of their faith as any other christian maybe.

Only reason why christanity is so popular is we hindu and buddist do not believe in conversion.. we do not push money or kill people in the name of conversion....Hinduism is not just a religion but it's celebrating who you are and where you come from, respecting nature and evevery living and even non-living things.. So:
