Okay, Newfoundglory did not open the new thread so here I am opening the thread JUST & JUST FOR SONG DEDICATION The first one is for the Sajha veteran Thapap....lets see how long you can resist.
can you guys live without listening to or dedicating dhoti songs in sajha? this is too much. sasahday, why don't you think of better ways of uniting Nepal under current condition than breaking it apart. Yes we hate indian for what they are, but we don't hate people from Terai. It's unfortunate that a lot of Terai people are mistaken for Indians. There should be a way we can settle this conflict without actually creating another reason for bloodshed and trouble in the country. I appreciate your views, but Nepal is already a small country struggling in between big countries. the present condition is right for settling mutual misunderstandings between different groups. There are so many ethnic groups in Nepal. For instance, newars, rai, limbu, gurung, madhesi, and many many more. What makes you think, sasasday, that all of these ethnic groups are well represented in Nepal. it is a sad reality that nepal was dominated by one race for a long time. But the time is different now. we can put all our differences aside and get involved in the current movement in the country. If the present contition is not suitable or is not fruitful, we can still change it. we can create proper atmosphere and laws where discrimination of any sort is severely penalised. It might take many years, but TOGETHER WE CAN DO THAT.
Raaz.. You r talkin like as if posting of hindi songs have induced racial biasness in Nepal..
And thinking part," We nepalis are bhedas".. We donot think at all...remember ritik roshan episode where four people died for nothing....for absolute nothing........
I like your posotive attitude for change in our habits for putting away differences..
Last note : MUSIC HAS NO BOUNDARY, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DONOT LISTEN....
i have a hard time accepting when some nepali try and rationalize nepali people as bhedas. does that mean we have to live in the same situation forever. first try and improve the way you live then our frustration for hating the damn dhoties will all go away. don't you think youa are culturally enslaved by Indians when you listen to their music, see their movie more than nepali movies, wear their dresses, eat their food, and even proudly speak dhoti filmy dialogs. what is the difference between a dhoti in india and you when you give priority to the made in india. so pacifier, before you try and be a philosopher and justify the meaning of music, think with respect to the context. be proud to be nepali and promote made in Nepal.
"when some nepali tryin to rationalize nepalis as bhedas".. Dude u r a living example of bheda now. tell you how .. whats your personal issue aginst hindi songs?? does that means i am less of a nepali coz i listen to hindi songs and u r more of a nepali coz u hate indian songs? and incontrary u will listen to english songs...
language is not a najor thing dude..its the thinking thts in your mind. I again repeat i appreciate your thinking of changing ourself but remember spitting venom against hindi songs donot make you more of a nepali than i am....
I chime in with rest of you with this awesome Johnny Cash song sung by Joaquin Phoenix. Dedicated to all who love "Walk the Line" and Johnny Cash.... baibie...baibie...
