हाहाहा नेपालीजी!
>I am almost 40, and unmarried.

NepaliG made up the whole story. Sorry NepaliG, you won't be able to redeem yourself with the kind of posting you had first. And your second posting is an insult to all of us once-hardworking- village- kids who are now earning decent money with "regular" 9-5 jobs. We don't have your attitude.
Studying is the only way to be proud of yourself?? Broaden your mind, please.
Karishma is not stealing, begging, or sitting idly to be ashamed of. She probably have already studied what she wanted(not Chemical Engineering).

Nepali G, you are freakn' stupid. They are not in prostitution business, they are not begging or they are not in underworld business. They are frekn? working their ass off to make their future better. That?s ain?t bad. You struggled too and that?s what they have been doing in their initial life in USA. You don?t know how much money Nepali Actresses make in Nepal. It?s shit. Most of the actress work for free. No one should be ashamed of what they have been doing. Work is god and this is how your America is made. Everybody?s not Engineer, Doc?s, Scientist, Lecturers, businessman or some other big shot. Everybody?s got life and you should respect that. TIMI PANI TUPPA BAATA PALAKO HOINA FEDAI BATA AAKO HO. Remember your root. God Bless You.

Yes sire, It sure is a shame. The shame is ours, not theirs. Our movie industry, kollywood or whatever they call it, was unable to attract them to act further. Pitty, isn't it ?

Hey Nepali G..You think you are a hot shot making 200 k a year..I think you are bullshitting and even if you are making 200K..it is not that much money..for you to go around judging other people and be insensitive to other less fortunate human beings let alone Nepali brothers and sisters is pathetic and beneath human. Didn't your parents teach you to treat other people with dignity and respect?I feel sorry for you that your ego and pride had been wounded along the way and you are desperately trying to patch it up by subjecting yourself with such low blows and rude remarks. Let me make a suggestion...if you do not know how to be satisfied, even if you are rich you will be poor...if you know how to be satisfied..even if you are poor you will be rich.if you want to teach others. you must first learn youself.

First of all, it is not bad to do an honest job. And second, bravo to such acctresses who told the Nepalese media the correct and true things, rather than some actors and actress who are ashamed to disclose their honest way of earning livelihood to the Nepali media and come up with bizzare star-studded stories. On the other hand, if PhDs and exprerience professionals from backhome are delivering Pizza in here, what makes the Nepali actress to get an entry into red carpet here? Everyone has to start somewhere, as long as it is honest and moral work. FYI Mayor Bloomberg's first job was as a parking attendant and British Prime minister was declined a job of Bus conductor.

I want to go to subway and tell them that they should not be ashamed of the jobs that they are doing...as long as they strive for something more...unless, making sandwiches washing floors and cleaning toilets is truly what they aspire to do with their lives...but I doubt it is..we nepalese should do all we can to help these poor girls..so I urge you all the next time when you are in the baltimore-dc area and you happen to stop at a subway...please be extra careful not to urinate outside of the toilet or urinal...because these girls will be the workers ordered to clean it up...and our fellow nepalese shouldnt have to clean up our pee...Anyways, I hope these actresses achieve success in america and bring hope to young girls all across Nepal..that they too can succeed in a foreign land with hard work.

Jai Nepal

NepaliG - okay, talk time.

No I won't put the usual tag -Jee - after your name. Why? Because you are - for want of a better word - friggin' twat; a sad old grumpy sick hypocrite who happens to think, he's some heaven-sent snivelling saint, the Almighty's all-knowing diplomat currently earth-bound in a bid to better the sorry lives of us mortals. And so, the bottom line is that you deserve none of my respect or anyone else's for that matter.

You might think, I am using an overblown third rate pub lingo crap. Why? Because you won't understand if I were to speak the Queen's English, and quite frankly, your grasp of the English language falls way below par - the average well-meaning Sajha surfers can well see that, even a simpleton like myself. And yet you claim to have gone to all those big universities and draw pleasure in your self-gratifyingly pompous way to go and announce that you are an engineer. And oh, who supposedly bags a whopping six figure annual salary. What utter bull-shit - bull-shit of an epic proportion, because that's what it is. Excuse my French but you're even richer than most of the British ministers including Tony Blair. But that's not my point for my doing these ravings - it's more to do with your friggin' attitude; you clearly display the typical Nepali mentality mold - narrowmindedness, cunningness and khutta tanne instinct all rolled into one. So, forgive me if I can carry on with my burst of verbal confettis which you deserve to be thrown at with gratification.

And what's there to do with what Karishma Manandhar/Puja Chand or in the more friendly parlance, any Tom-Dick-or-Harry, do out there in the world? What's the khas khas? Are you paying them their rents? The fees they'll need to pay for their children to go to schools? Providing the support they give to their families back home? Of course, not. What is yes is that you make it point of coming Sajha in an express bid to spew the basest of your bleeding venom, so the good names of our few nationally established personalities can be dented for permanent. How bloody low can you get with your pathetic act - you sad old friggin arse.

I for one have enormous respect for the two actresses. I admire their true mettle as artistes as much in the way as I admire them as individuals because they are our own didis and bahinis. I admire even more for what they're doing at the mo, and other things being equal, we all have the right to do things our own way as long as our actions won't hurt others, and that includes one's choice of adopting a lifestyle whether working in a restaurant or let's say, cleaning your toilet. Nothing is wrong with doing the karma.

So, think twice before you post such comments in Sajha, and frankly, all the well-meaning Sajha surfers can well do without your pathetic brand of crap. We can take only so much! And, yes, I am a raving madman at the mo, and won't mind smashing your puny head to bits if you were in front of me. No, I am not joking.

*****************************************
All Sajha readers,
My apologies as this is the very first time, I have behaved very badly. This gentleman (I'll call him so now that he's had enough of my stick!) did get on my nerve. Massively. I hope, you will excuse my French above - all of it. Thank you.
Have a nice Sunday all.
Carpe diem.

For the first time, dear Sandhurst paji, you sounded less like a sentimental fop ( of the best kind ofcourse) and more like a Vavavoom man.Grrr....woohoo. The sound of a man at his most passionate ravings, excluding mania for football, cricket etc.Any idea how it gladdens a gal's heart? *lol* On a more serious note, which im not very good at,btw, you make absolute sense and i actually sat up straighter while readin your msg above. Good going lahure, good that u got it outta your system.

But coming bk to the topic... how dare this worthless being even post this thread?! There are multitudes of our countrymen working outside of Nepal. They , most of them are making an honest living, working their fingers to their bones. I have but utter respect for these people. To leave the comfort of their homeland, the love and warmth of their family and friends.Who would not prefer to live amongst one's beloveds? And yea, this "engineer guy" he sure is bullshitting... if hes enginering anything.. its his crappy loopholey tales about himself. Go find a hole and hide under it will ya? you might just be accepted by them lot.

Heres to each and every one of our countryman, away from home. :)

Gone with the wind..
