Okay, My monitor got messed up. It was working fine last nite then i turned it off, everything was alright.. I tried turning it on this morning but the monitor didnt work, It said " Monitor is in power save mode..activate using pc" right.. then i hit lotta keys to see if it works..then i also checked the power code and all wires and stuffs which my freind told me to do.. but it still wouldnt work.. now it says " monitor is working, check the signal cable.... red, white, blue, green" in a small box....but it still don't work??I guess the mintor is not detecting any signal from the computer... Do anyone of you guys know, what the problem iss? heeeeelppp pleasee!!!

There are few possibilties that may causing the problem. Most likely it has to do with your display card.You could verify or check the card status by swithing off the poer to the CPU or chasis and pushing the display card in just in case it came off the motherboard.Switch on the chasis power if the problem persists then move on to another plan.

Secondly, you could remove the card and insert it in another PC.If the problem remains then it is confirmed that display card is the problem.

Beside the display card, it could also be that your CPU(chais)power supply has "died". Verify this by pressing the power and take note if the lights are on or it goes off almost instaneously upond powering.You should also listen to unsual sounds coming out from the CPU unit.

I strongly think your monitor problem is due to your display card. It should have "died". Perhaps it is time to change.

haha i told you im not worrying da much.. yea i connected a diff fine monitor in that CPU but its the same problem!!! it says " NO SIGNAL" hmm but the CPU makes usuall sound of windows xpppp ... i guess something's wrong with the monitor connection of tje CPU dont you think?..

now the only problem I can see is, the port in the CPU is not working. By the way, did you try a different cable as well? Good Luck

what cable? yea the monitor connection port is sorda loose... does that make any prob?

I also think the graphics card is fried. If the motherboard had built in graphics, then you have to replace the motherboard or else buy a PCI or AGP graphics card. A better and simpler solution does exist: THROW AWAY YOUR PC. But before doing all that, make sure the cable and the power supply is fine. :D

yes that makes a huge problem, and it may create the problem like you are having right now. Make sure that the monitor connection cable is tight. If its not, then you will have the problem that you are having right now. Well, you might want to use your hand to keep it firm while you are testing it, make sure that its not loose. :)
