Being a Yankees fan I will give all the credits thats due for Boston Red Sox. They never gave up and hung in there..for two extra innning games!! When postseason started I was excited that Yanks and Boston would make an October classic and was on the verge of getting dissapointed...but its ok NOW...This is what Yanks do...they pound you then they waver off a bit...and in the end they come back and hammer you...Its asking too much for Sox to come bacn and win.it all..good luck!!

But again I feel sorry for all those Sox fans...always getting their hopes high lol...

Btw, all people do is tlak about Ortiz who is having a fabolous season but the real MVP for me is MATSUI....he hasnt been stopped at all...in the first 5 games..he iskilling them...I think they fear..him..

I think the play AX was referring to was the one when Ortiz tried to steal the base and shocked everybody, because HE WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO. He isn't a great runner and Posada caught him easily and was surprised how he dared do it. The replays weren't even needed as it was a clean catch and tag.

Second, I agree with AX. Arod is a complete player. I'd have said that even if he were still in Texas or had signed with Red Sox. Manny is a great hitter, one of the best in the field. But he is just too slack at times, because of which no team wanted to pick him when he was released by his own club. Not saying bad about Manny, I'd have loved to have him on the club as a hitter, but you just can't make an argument saying Manny is as complete player as A-Rod.

Wow another great game. Red Sox made it so far. It was unbelievable few days back, they done a great job to force the 7th game. I didnýt get to see whole game for personal reason so I can not comment on the 6th game. Great job by Schilling, he supposed to be in the dugout nursing his ankle problem and he pitched the gem. He is one of the best pitchers now, no wonder he is a first ballot hall of famer. The few innings I watched, Yankees failed to small things like running and advancing runners. AROD was in the 2nd and Sheffield in the 1st base with Zero out and Matsui fouled out and Bernie and Posada grounded out to end the inning. It was so unlike of Yankees. They have been fading last 3 games to score the run RISP must be somewhere hobble around .150 ?(??)

And what am I getting from Red Sox fans??? Can you guys get not personal??? Lay the fact. And when you do counter argument please give the stat or link to back it up especially Proud bro. Thanks DWI, I should have been clearer about Ortiz play. When he tried to steal the base, I am sure all of us were caught by surprise and especially Posada, Yankees Catcher. He was caught in surprise so much that he almost threw the ball to the center field. He should have been alert and thatýs what he gets paid for. I donýt know which baseball thinks Ortiz trying to steal a base is a good ideaý. I am just puzzled.

I think these Red Sox fans are here just for the sake of argument. They never back up their statements. They been calling Manny is the best, but they are hesitated to put his stat, that says a lot about you Red Sox Fansýý. This Manny is the same dude got dissed by his own team; dude was so expensive that none claimed him when he was put on waiver earlier this season. If he was so damn good like Red Sox fans think, Yankees would have taken him. He is from NYC and would have been good advertising tool for the Yankees team. No wonder he got stuck in Boston. I have no problem with you when you say you are a Yankee fan and a Red Sox hater.

I appreciate you adherence to the team you love to see win. I admire your strong feeling for the team you love but does not mean you have to hate other teams.

For e.g. you love your spouse to death which does not mean you have to hate any other men/women.

This "hate" resides in your heart because in your head there is a constant fear of loosing to other team. This is a consequence of your knowledge of the ability of the other team or inaility/deficiencies of your team. And you know Yankees are better ball players which does not exclude them from loosing to other teams. And you know that pretty well. But a true sports (man or fan) believes more on the game than winning. However, win means lot to your well being.

Well AX, sometimes you have to accept the facts and can not turn blind eyes. Games, especially baseball can become unpredicatable and things go to other direction as it is going for your Yankees currently.
