Hi Guys, I have an approved TPS from 2016 to 2018. Now, I am reregistering for the current one. I am also applying for the advance parole. Do i mail both the TPS and advance parole application together to same USCIS address or do they have to be mail separately to two different mailing address that is phoenix lockbox and dallas lockbox? Please advise. Yr help highly appreciated.

@genuineindividual you can check where to file tab on this link. It depends on which state you are filing from. Good luck! https://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/temporary-protected-status/temporary-protected-status-designated-country-nepal

Dawg, Thanks for your reply. My question is do we send the TPS reregistration and advance parole application to the same lock box or do we have to send it to two different lock box?? (That is dallas lock box and phoenix lock box in my case) Thanks again.

If you are
Filing Form I–131 together with a Form I–821, Application for Temporary Protected Status for NEPAL.
Mail to The address provided in Table 1.
If you are filing Form I–131 separately based on a pending or approved Form I–821, send your form to the address listed in Table 2 and include a copy of Form I–797 for the approved or pending Form I–821. You can find Table 1 and Table 2 on Federal Register

if you want EAD valid for June 2025 then you should apply for EAD, they are not going to auto-extend after 2024 date.

I have been following this thread as some of my own relatives are also filing for TPS. Kudos to you guys for sharing the knowledge!
Regarding this a12 or c19 it is still confusing. USCIS says something like this in this link below.
But then again in another document posted by USCIS, it is sounding more confusing, as it says a(12) is for individuals filing for the first time!! Most of us are not filing for the first time right?
In my case, I was of opinion that the current TPS is expiring after some time right and we are filing for TPS again based on our country's eligibility and the new extension granted to us maybe for the last time now. If somebody has applied for TPS first without EAD and then after getting TPS he or she changed his mind, and then go on to apply for EAD later, then a(12) applies but if someone is filing concurrently, then may be it is c(19). Currently, we are filing re-registration means we are starting altogether again. So, I went with c19 at the time of filing for my relative. I took this call because I was thinking that though we do have TPS currently, it is expiring after some time right? and we are again filing for TPS based on our country's eligibility and we are not applying TPS for the first time. This is just how I was thinking.
But regardless, whether you enter a12 or c19 I think as long as you file everything correctly with correct fees, it does not really matter as both are for TPS categorically, as you can all see that USCIS will not reject c19 either as the last picture above shows. Lastly, I do not want to cause any kind of stress to anyone.

@bennedict: yes that is what confused me. I filed it with A12 then later realized C19 is also the correct option to add. my case status already shows 2 weeks left for their decision. so I am not sure if I should call USCIS and have them correct my eligibility category to c19 or just let it be. Cause in the end I don't want to pay $400 for ead.

@nash24,Calling USCIS is a burden. I have tried in the past and everytime people over there talk like a machine with no social empathy at all. I can imagine so many people calling them everyday asking all kinds of questions under the sun, no wonder they would talk like they do not really care.
See, regarding immigration or USCIS topics, I cannot really advise people what to do or not do. Like most of us all, I also learnt by reading online a lot and then also talking to my lawyer. Most probably, you can call them up and see how they answer in your case. But to me, it is not a big problem really as both a12 or c19 is for TPS applicants in USCIS terms. The other areas like signatures, correct full name, address, correct fees matter the most in my opinion.

Again, majority of Nepali people read to be Educational Success, well, its not your fault, that is how Nepal is, so no blame to you.
We need to read for to developed Critical Thinking Skills.
Here comes A(12) and C(19)..we know everything in this world is connected or related.
Concentrate children .. We are dealing with Form I- 821.
So first, Part 1- Type of Application,
Under Type of Application there are 1.a and 1.b ..Everybody knows that.. you don't have tell me, this is how you may be acting right now, or you may be saying this woman has no clue what she is saying..bla bla..
BUT did you read the NOTE under 1.b, plenty of explanation on that NOTE. Aha, see, raise your hands if you completely understand what NOTE says, don't understand, re-read 20 times, or use google to translate to Nepalese..I don't think that works.
This NOTE is telling you how to use A(12) or C(19) ..got it children.
