Rest in Peace

A Nepali student pursuing nursing studies in New York has committed suicide on Sunday, April 15th.

Bhesh Raj Panday, 25, who hailed from Kerung of Agrakhachi district died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in New York. Panday was found unconscious at his apartment in Ridgewood, Sunday afternoon and rushed to a nearby hospital. The cause of death has not been confirmed, however preliminary reports indicate that Panday had committed suicide. According to news reports, authorities recovered poisonous medicine from Panday’a apartment.

Panday came to the U.S. five years ago. He had completed nursing course from Hostos college last year and had worked at hospital in North Carolina for few months.

Shree Parajuli, president of Nepali Ridgewood Society, informed that Panday was a gentle and friendly person but had been very concerned about his career lately.

I know, I know! But I wasn't joking about the existence of fags in sajha though! They have a pretty good alliance too!

As much as its heartfelt, I have to agree with bittertruth.

You don't have the rights to kill yourself no matter what. you were raised by your parents or whoever not to kill yourself.
loosers....

Dipikaoz, bravo for your comment. A 25 year old lost his life and instead of condolence and kind word to the deceased and his family we use words like looser, fags and found yet another reason to fight. And that is based on what? Five lines from a news article where it clearly says the cause of death has not been confirmed. We may be last on everything but we are first on judging people without even knowing the fact.

RIP and condolence to his family.

I concur with Dipika wholeheartedly and would like to apologize to all. Emotions got the best of me. Not that anyone cares, but I deleted my harsh reply to bittertruth.

However, I am still troubled that calling a departed soul a loser is asked to be condoned and supported by few.

RIP departed soul. Though, I did't like the ripping comments by some commentators in sajha, its not time to curse and discuss over someone who is no more in this world.

What you chose was probably not the best solution, but what's done can't be undone. Rest in peace brother. I remember, every time I go home, my mom never comes to drop me off at the airport on my way back because she just can't help herself from crying. My heart reaches out to your mom. I pray that your family, especially your mom, may have strength to overcome this grieveous tragedy.

Bittertruth: Be proud, you've been successful to scream, "Your son was a pathetic loser!" at his parents' faces.

R.I.P. brother...may your soul find peace

Usually I really don't like to comment like this but i feel i have to.

Some people should learn to be humble. I really don't advocate or support sucide or any idea related to it. But before you guys make harsh comment or call names like losers, think about it...what kind of hardship or stress that person must have gone through.

I don't think that guy was some kind of drug addict who wasted life..He was well educated person. His paing must be intolerable for him to take such drastic action.

Nobody does sucide on a whim. Okies, enough of living, lets just die...it doesnot happen that way. People who harbor such thoughts show signs well long before they commit it. Maybe he didnot have enough support and love that he sought to handle various difficulties in life. Everybody comes across various obstacle in life. Some are big and some are small. We make and shape our mechanism to handle those obstacle. Sometimes it is self determination and motivation that does the trick. Sometimes it is warmth of mother, arms of lover, smile of your child  and hope that makes us strong and gives us enough courage to go through these obstacles in life.

Just because you climbed a mountain, doesnot mean you have got every thing figured out in life. Not everyone is fortunate enough or strong enough to overcome these obstacle.

Sometimes we can't make it on our own. Everybody needs some help here and there. Maybe he was missing that. Thats why we have family and community. I find it hard to understand, some people's lack of compassion.

When you see someone fall down, try not to make lame comments, try to help them stand, give your hand if not atleast words of encouragement. Maybe thats all they need in life.

@facebook and dave mathew, your words are enough for me to make an assessment about your ideology and how superficial your thought process is. I feel sorry for you ppl. If you read what I've written not once but twice , thrice, may be you'll get what I meant. The core issue is not the hatred I spat here, but the reality.. and we don't really want to face reality. That's our problem. I'm equally saddened by any death.
And esp. facebook, you know that you need my attention, so I replied you back. There is one thing you are still angry about me, but you're not telling me. And if you think Sajha would be better off without me, please don't pop-up anywhere and start addressing me. Simply ignore me. But again, I know you seek my attention. It amuses me always.
And, ppl, please don't try to make good out of yourself using cuss words. They can see what you are made up of.
Chill.

@behoove, that reply of yours was never harsh to me, though you felt so. You don't really have to think like that because I've not taken any of it seriously. I don't know but I remember last year this guy posted a video on youtube that he was so mad and smashed his xbox because he was bothered by the comments posted on his xbox chat room. Sometimes these ppl get suicidal or even become avengers or something like that. They hold grudge. I woke up that moment that there are very sensitive ppl online cussing words to each other and taking real actions in real life. I don't want that happen to anyone. I've controlled my use of words. FYI, I don't let any of the comments posted against me let bother me, I don't let it do that because I'm more powerful and I control my emotion and the moment I give birth to ill feelings, I become one of them and I become one of those weaklings and thankfully which I am NOT.  I agree some of my comments hit straight to the hearts but if you think it twice without losing your temper(which is you becoming more powerful), you'll see things clear. Temper and anger are those things which won't let you see things and you lose your very ability to decide things intellectually. I don't konw the whole news but all these comments I made on this thread are based on someone committing suicide. If the death is caused by any other reason but suicide, I take back all my words.

I'm still extremely sorry for his parents than himself. I hope they get the strength to bear this trauma of their life.

__
I consider this life that is given to each one of us as a gift by our higher self, higher intellect. How do you feel if you gift someone and they rip it off and throw it in a trash?  You don't feel good, do you? (I don't really have sympathy for those who disrespect) Anyone of you ruining your life on drugs, alcohol, smoke, please think about it. You've a purpose here, i.e to learn more about you and connect with your inner(higher)self. To survive, even a stray dog can go eat whatever shits it finds and survive.
Most of us are all entangled in this rat race, then we're so stressed out and we're forgetting ourselves. Most of us are so busy that we forget to live. I know some of your won't get it, because your thought is still clouded with emotions, attachment and your own temperaments, these are the very weapons of your ego and ego makes you weaker than anything else. Win your ego, and see what's there. I did that a year ago and I'm winning every steps.
To make long story short, appreciate your life, respect it.
Live it, live your purpose, love your life.

PS: and anyone considering me stone-hearted, heartless piece of ***** , T H I N K. Nothing around you is permanent. After 20-40 years you won't be here. Stop being emotional, become Spiritual.

@jantarei, I didn't mean to disrespect his family members. Believe me some of his family members must be mixed with anger and sorrow for what he did and happened. 'Angry' for what he did and 'sorrowed and griefed' for what had happened.

If anyone of his family members reading this, I've no intention to disrespect you,
please accept my heartfelt condolence on the loss of your son.
