I am a big fan of Apple.  So figured it deserves its own thread.

AAPL is currently trading at around $377.  Twelve month median forecast puts it at $500.  I think it can easily reach that level, probably even sooner. GOOG is at $563.  With the gowth estimate factored in, this stock is Cheap with capital C.  It's just that it does tie up significant capital because the entry point is so high.

What say you, folks?

I am back, friends, not that anyone would miss me, hehehehe... I and my narcissism.  Anyway, hope all ya'll are making mucho dinero in recent rallies.

So what to make of this AAPL stock?  Parts order cancellations, rumors, innuendos, Steve Jobs' ghost, etc. are creating havoc.  At one time I was sure this stock will reach $500 like GOOG.  Now I am not so sure.  So what to do?  Is this a buying opportunity.  Or is it time to look into selling.  If so, at what price point?

Any ideas?


ps: I sold bunch of EOGs today.  Tidy profit.  Energy sector seems to have hit the peak.  Ki kaso?

Welcome back bro I bought some JNPR when you said and its riding high

i just bought $450 AAPL call for Apr 2012 today. I plan to sell it when it goes $400/share. I think it will easily go past $400 in coming weeks.
I also added $20 puts for RIMM for March 2012. RIMM ceo is crying out loud "mayday mayday, we are going down. I repeat, we are going down."

Call me stupid but I bought some more S when it was at low 2.20s overall losing money on that one but still expectations riding high on S

 @anon I think u will make a nice profit on S. With the iphone on their line and unlimited data plans, I would expect a really good Q4 results. 

Thanks, Anon, for your welcome.  I bought JNPR at 20 couple of months back.  It is making some money.  I hope it will make more.

S has been a disappointment so far.  I hope it will get a boost when Q4 numbers come out.  I bought it at $3.50, so you know I am hurting.  

But that's not the only place I am hurting at.  I happen to hold GS which has been in the gutter for some time now. 

AAPL going further down today.   Darn it !!!
