Has anyone changed from F1 to Green card recently? if so could you give some guidance on it?

I don't know which recruiter arib007 emailed but the MAVNI web clearly asks if you are legal alien with no LPR or green card.  Kid, you don't have to prove us that you are a dumb ass, we already know that by your argnment on previous posts. this guy don't seem to understand that students are legal residents too , just not legal Permanent residents. There is no doubt US army is running a program like this and good to know mr hunder, our brother already joined too. some people are just trying to be loud mouth in here for the shake of their small ego. these laukayas are always present in any Nepali groups who know nothing but act like they know everything, and even if they are corrected they never want to admit they were wrong. they can't comprehend the fact they might be influencing some body's life with their stupid suggestion. you are right kalopani, there is a quota to be fulfilled. Army is taking 1000 personnels right now but the quota is far from being filled. That is why they have started recruiting MAVNI applicants out of  Los Angeles, CA too. they have a deadline of december 1st so they are going to keep recruiting till they hit the quota or the deadline. According to my recruiter they still have a lot of recruiting to do, since ppl dont know about this and many hasnt applied, so if anyone wants to join i suggest they call any recruiter in NY, i have listed my recruiter's info above. Its a good opportunity to do sth for ourselves and our family members.

Jonny, I dont think there is age restrictions. Coz i saw some Indians with a double master's degree joining in. As long as you are physically fit i dont think it matters.

mrhunter info is correct..sorry arib007 you are trying to be smart..i live in NY and so far the info given by the recruting office..they r taking alein into usa army but they have certain citeria..i.e 2yrs stay in usa...
