Mate, here is my suggestion for you. First of all you should understand bramin chettri are spreaded around the country east to west. So it is apparent that whereever you go, you will see bramin or chettri. secondly, bramin, from the childhood they empasize on education, politics and administration has always been their interest. where as newar love to do buisiness, whereever they go they open shop/workshop ( they seem always reluctant to do govt job, politics). therefore, first  being newar you need to change your attitude and interest, you need to actively particpate into politics, administratitive job. bahun and chettri, because of their interest, their presense is significat and whatever good or bad they do, instead of person their "caste" is blamed often. this is nothing but a narrow minded attitude.

do you know newar outside the valley can not speak newari and some do not want to speak newari. they say thier mother tongue is not newar, they say it is nepali! have you ever gone beyond the valley???

Janajatis  : Workers (Hard workers, Yet lot of times did not succeed because of cheap labor )

I'm sure that you're not newar, you must have learnt newari, cos, that is must to live in kathmandu valley. Have you ever been to hile okhaldhunga, tumlingtar chainpur, newar's there still speaks newari, and they feel proud to be newars. leave about biratnagar, or hetauda.

You also don't know that, newars itself have brahmins to shudra. All  newars don't do business. like joshi's, they are brahmins in newar, and they don't do business for example. they studies.All newars have own profession, they believe in their skill. But the only difference between bahuns and newari brahmins are:- bahuns does politics, and newars don't. they achieve their goals by their own. but bahuns through others ( parties or pulling somebody elses legs ). anyway there's no comparison between newar's and bahuns. newar's are civilized since decade, but bahuns of nepal just get into kathmandu, hungry and poor. so obviously they will do something bad to get money. but now it's enough I think.

Having observed many different threads in Sajha, it's been obvious to me that the most racist attitude in Nepal are carried by Newari friends. No offence though. I'm not posting this message to add another racial comment, but we definitely need to identify and eliminate sourness within all different nepalese communities before we can actually fight against our other adversities to develop country. First of all, we need to make a habit of accepting each other and respect each others values. It does not matter who becomes President and Vice president of Nepal as long as they are Nepali. We should come out of the Geographical cage and make a broader perspective to understand the Country as a whole. For those who consider only Kathmandu Valley as the whole country, it may take some time to completely accept a Madhesi being President of Nepal. But, it's an unevitable fact that they should start broadening their view of Nepal from valley boundaries to it's actual periphery. Tika: might have born and brought up in Kathmandu. He can never understand how does the actual Nepal look like unless he goes and sees farmers in Terai and Himal regions.

I do not understand why Newari people always have so much bitterness against Bahuns and Madhesis. Newari community has been very successful in Business than others and also they have good impact in bureaucracy and many other fields.Why are they always complaining against bahuns and madhesis ? Lead positions in many of the political parties are bahuns does not mean that they are there by suppressing leaders from Newar and other communities. Bahuns and Kshetris are the most widespread communities in the country and certainly they are in much better position to accept every other communities. We cannot change history, but certainly can determine our future by taking positive steps and trying to find commanalities rather than differences. Lets try to understand the actual demography of the country and respect each others values. Tika:, if you consider yourself a Nepali, you should first know about your contry and it's people. At this time there does not exist a thing called Bahun bhasa. There is a common language for all Nepali people and that is 'Nepali'. I do respect Newari communities for their heritage, and most of my friends are Newars though I'm born in bahun family from Terai.

I am not a newar. I am a Chaudhary, came to KTM at my 14 for education. I have no home in KTM, stayed in rooms rented from both newar family and bahun family. I know the difference.

I have many good bahun friends but none of them are honest, ha ha ha, all of them are greedy, ha ha ha, They come to my room hungry from the early morning when I invite them for dinner, ha ha ha, Poor me, I got to see such bahuns around me, too bad. I don't mean all bahuns are same. To be honest, I like that typical bahun mentality and their shameless showoffs, seriously, because there is some sort of amusement I enjoy while watching them behave that typical, ha ha ha. (Someone mentioned above, there is newar bahuns too, who are not like the typical non-newar bahuns, I don't know about this.)

When I mentioned बाहुन भाषा in this thread, these racist bahuns got mad. They claim their बाहुन भाषा as the nepali भाषा, this is totally bullshit. These cunning bahuns are shameless to rename their भाषा wherever they go. When they were in far western खस community, they said their भाषा is खस भाषा. They gradually moved eastward and built their strong hold in पर्वत region. They started to name their भाषा as पर्वते भाषा. There are many communities who call these बाहुन भाषा as the पर्वते भाषा until these days. Once Gorkha became powerful with strong presence of bahuns as the helper of Gorkhali Kings, they said their भाषा as गोर्खाली भाषा. People from Darjeeling to Dehradoon have named this बाहुन भाषा as the गोर्खाली भाषा. We know why the pioneering बाहुन भाषा magazine was named गोर्खापत्र. The बाहुन भाषा was not claimed as  नेपाली भाषा even after a Gorkhali King ruled नेपाल उपत्यका for a long time, because thakuris and chhetris were powerful enough. The बाहुन भाषा was called as either गोर्खाली भाषा or पर्वते भाषा.When thakuris and chhettris were sidelined by the बाहुन people in the  नेपाल उपत्यका, then this बाहुन भाषा was called  नेपाली भाषा. For most of young generation under the influence of महेन्द्रमाला, they think, the  बाहुन भाषा is  नेपाली भाषा, which is totally untrue.

The a-holes like you are the biggest problems of this country. The lower grade mentalities like yours is somehthing that must be eliminated from this country before anything better can happen here. I am proud to be a Nepali and I do have equal respect for all the ethnic groups who lives in this country. The filthy mind like you can neither be Newar, Chaudhary or Bahun. Dude, I have also lived all my life with Newars and all different Madhesi people. And I know how good they are and how bad some individuals (like you) in all different communities can be. You in no way represent Newar or Chaudhary community, coz you are the dirty part of the community whichever you are from, who is mainly focussed on creating holes in the harmonious relationships between all different native Nepali people. Yea, you should better start learning hindi coz the dividing attitude like yours will not be able to survive in Nepal. Copying Khas bhasa's history from some website or book and trying to create a fake influence among sajha readers does not prove that you are a serious individual . At the end of your copied material, you have itirated the same thing that i was trying to say in my previous post (aren't you smart enough..hmm).  I have grown up with Newars and I have the very honest Chaudhary friends and close families with whom I have spent best times of my life. And still I am saying that Newars are more racists than others. This has something to do with the geography and close community in the valley where they have always lived. You might have seen how are many madhesis treated in Kathmandu. I am not bringing this to disrespect Newari community as a whole. Rather to bring into light the aspects of societies which need to be corrected so that everybody will be able to respect others existence and values. Trust me, it is still very hard for many of Newari people to accept a Madhesi as a president of Country and bahuns as better people coz they feel like they are conquered by other communities in their own place, and which happens to be Kathmandu valley. And that is the core of dislike that they have for bahuns and madhesis and arises from the insecurities they have for their culture and heritage which they have maintained for hundreds of years.

There are hundreds of problems in each different communities that will gradually eliminate as we accept each other well and move along together. Many individuals from many different communities consider bahuns as the biggest problem and bitch. But bear in mind, it's the bahun and khetris who have actually glued the whole country and all different ethnic groups together coz they are more widespread than any other communities and speak the language that is common to all different communities. It may sound like boasting about bahuns and khetris, but it's because of these communities that Nepal today exists as a single country. Otherwise it would still be Bayaisi and Chaubishi rajyas or probably would have already been a history. Hold on, again see these are not the statements that I am posting here to seek differences between bahuns and others. This is just an answer to your sourness about bahuns.

There are things we need to accept because we have to grow together and go ahead in making a prosperous Nepal. This country can't exist without Newars, without Chaudharis, without Rajbanshis,without Gurungs, Magars, and without any other group that constitute a part of the big Nepali community. There are so many facts that exist. They are there because of our geo-political and geo-social history.Not that we created those. But we certailny have to eliminate those if they are problems, not by bitching each other, but trying to seek solutions to those. And that is certainly not possible with attitude like yours.
