Copa America kicks off from tonight. I don’t know if anybody remembers, Brazil left Argentina heartbroken with Adriano’s last second goal in the previous championship. Argentina is fielding its strongest squad with the likes of Crespo, Messi and Tevez while Brazil will be fighting to defend its crown without Ronaldhino and Kaka. USA, who is just coming out of joyful Gold Cup victory, will compete with Argentina on Thursday without any of its star players. Bob Bradley has yet to lose the game since he took over USA’s job. Mexico gets the second chance to shine after its disappointing Gold Cup performance. Uruguay, Chile, Ecuador, Venezuela, Paraguay, Bolivia, Costa Rica are all coming to the battle zone with their strong squads. There will be some electrifying South American Football for next few weeks. Go Argentina!!

Brazil looked confused in the middle without the playmaker Kaka yesterday. It’s been a while that Ronaldhino has had good influence in his national team so his absence may not have been as critical as Kaka’s. Brazil who is participating in Copa America without several other key players looked dreary and undisruptive at many times yesterday. Dunga has plenty to work on before Brazil’s next group match. All eyes will be rested on Argentina, the favorites to win the cup, when they take on deprived USA tonight. The tournament has produced some stunning surprises already; hopefully, this is not going to be one of them.

Brazil withiut several Key Players?? I ts only Kaka and Roni. Ronaldo and Adriando werent even selected, and Carlos and Cafu have retired. Even then, they had Robinho, Diego, Silva, and they should have won...But they were miserable.

Brazil controlled the game but they just can't get through Mexican defense. There was not much coordination at the frontline too. Kaka and Ronaldinho's absence was the killer. I hope US will give a nice challenge to Argentina today. It should be a good game to watch.

CrystalCracker bro, Brazil is not only missing Kaka and Ronnie, they also do not have their usual line up of Emerson, Lucio, Juninho, Cicinho and Dida. Doni did not have a good game yesterday - he looked shaky through out the game. It will be almost fair to say that this is their second string team with an exception of Gilberto Silva, Robinho and Juan. However, I agree that they should have still beaten the Mexicans who were missing numbers of key players themselves.
