this is the jhurest world cup ever.
First of the, the WI is the jhurest country to play cricket, everyday rain rain and rain...
second, the pitch there is also jhurest..not enouth run...
third, WI is the jhurest team, not lots of supporters, no crowd and no more fun...

Babhadra probably you are still not over Indian loss . Ask any bangladesh supporter the same question. They gave 3 days holiday in bangladesh after they beat India.

If you ask me I will watch both the games be it india or bangladesh. And you probably dont support the unrpedicatability of the world cup. I havent missed any matches that Irish team have played and would continue to watch their game till they are out.

of course, it is good to win by poor teams. But, when they can not maintain their performance on later games, the games will be one sided. Now, look at the condition of Bangladesh. If it was India or pakistan in place of Bangladesh, the super 8 games would be more fantastic.

danda pani. one what groud you say it jhoorest. Tell me one thing.

Last world cup there were 6 teams in second round, two weres Kenya and Zimbo.
Kenya beat zimbo and reach semis. Kenyans and zimbabwens were hammered by every team in second round.

This world cup there are 8 teams in second round. 6 teams are so called good teams from which 4 are to be selected.

May be you should start accepting India and Pakistan were not good enough thats why you feel jhurest. Same thing happened to me when my team was knocked out of world cup in first round.

True the backstange incidence were not good enough. but it shouldnot effect the people watching from television. If your team would have been playing you would still be glued to the television.

I was really tempted to comment on bidhan's issue about test matches being interesting even being played in empty statium itself proves how interesting they actually are. No wonder Mr. bidhan in next 10/15 years only playing 22 with their bench and umpires will be watching test matches and their may be few people like you and your Iris friends will be watching it as Ireland will be making their debut against Bermuda. Hail you and your Irish friends for test matches.

Deshbhakta. Does that really matter if it is played in empty stadium. Cricket have always been a tv game. How many test matches are played in full stadium.

I have seen the much hyped called India vs Pakistan test series played in empty stadium. But millions were watchin on tv. TRP was so high.

If you want full stadium watch 20-20. Even a weak teams like nothamtonshire and lankashire offers a full stadium.

i agree deshbhaktanepali. Look at how exciting this world cup has really been. Bidhan bro, having fun watching the matches with your "irish" friends? Ireland being hammered in a one sided affair.

Well even windies were hammered in last three maches over 100 runs.

Man did you see last world cup. How many matches were close. just one westindies vs southafrica.

There have been lots of close matches in this world cup. And of course I have few Irish and Kiwi friends. I have my own team in super 8. I go to pub and watch games with English supporters whenever england is playing. World cup is alive and well.

For Indian and Pakistan they are licking their wounds. haha

I recently read one adage in football world cup and I think it is quite suitable for cricket world cup as well.

Former Italian sticker rossi said " World cup is as intesting as your team. "

Balbhadra. I am saying this purely on the fact that my team was knocked out first round last world cup. Watching kenya and zimbo hammared was painful. But thats what life is.

Bidhan40
you are totally astray on this matter
Yes your England may have reached the 2nd round ..wow..wow what an achievement haha..i know how it felt wen yu guys got kicked out of the last world cup

To come to the point , my favorite team is Australia, they too reached the second round winning very easy games..now in the super eight stage i wanted them to play games that would atleast give them some sort of contest...that surely has not come from bangladesh and ireland so far

I am not taking anything away from Bangladesh and Kenya here, beacuse they did get to the 2nd stage by their own genuine effort...al i am saying is that i would rather have india and pakistan in the super eight stage

as a spectator and even as a gr8 fan of australian cricket i would surely love to watch Australia beat India by any margin than seeing an incompetent affair where Bangladesh get trounced by 10(yes10) wickets

I know yu are a big fan of england who loves to watch england play and thrash weaker nations and bark around with a long nose.

all in all ..this world cup has certainly become dull, without india and pakistan ..in the super eight stage wherin cut throat affair was expected among the eight sides to proceed to the semifinals it has become a six sided affair..or lets say an affair wherein SA, AUS, NZ and ENG have a clearcut one game advantage over SRI and WI cuz the former group plays both BAN and IRE

I am only arguing to the fact that it is not jhurest world cup.

At least in this world cup supereight it is still very competative. Anwyay Irish are not hammered. We have 8 teams out of which 6 teams are good.

Unlike last world cup were kenya won just one game against top side srilanka and they were in semis. We dont like such format. last world cup there were 6 teams 2 were kenya and zimbabwe.

Just tell me cricketing wise how this world cup is worse than 1996 world cup and 2003 world cup. In 1996 it was a win three consecutive matches win the world cup. That was the worse world cup with no proper format.

For me the best world cup I have seen was 1992 but for that rediculous rain rule against southafrica in semis. You may sa
