Koirala unanimously nominated for PM's post

KATHMANDU, April 25 - The meeting of the seven-party alliance (SPA) on Tuesday unanimously nominated Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala for the post of The Prime Minister.

I have my doubts too...

Its reasonable to say that majority of us don't agree Girija being the PM......how can we make our People in Nepal understand the same????? The protestors....Come on man...if you wanna taste the fruit of this aandolan.......reject Girija as the PM.......

Girija is already for monarchy. girija can not and will not demand much from the palace for Nepali people. Akhir, Matrika, BP, Prakash Koirala and Girija were/are all pro-monarchican.

they will forget all things that people are demanding. aashaa haru sab kharani hune bhaye...

The immediate reaction should be a big demonstration against Giriaj being PM now. So I hope the demomstrations will be back soon.

I hope the demonstration will ask for clean people in the cabinet.. not Girija or Deubae or KP Bahattarai

Yes, Girija was so courageous that he pardoned all the Panches wrong doers in Mallik Commission Reports, who was so courageous that he spoke against KP Bhattarai so that Bhattarai baje lost the election in a mid-term election, who was so courageous that he sacked 6 the then ministers including Taranath Ranabhat, who was so courageous that he dissolved the well running parliament in 2051 BS even when his party was enjoying majority, who was so courageous that he sacked Gagan Thapa, and others from top NSU posts, who was so courageous that he fought with Sher Bahadur Deuba (implicitely for prime minister) just for nothing that caused parliament dissolved. AND, he now got his post of prime minister back, that's it.

I challange you that Girija was the only one who was responsible for so much rape over democracy by himself and by others including Gyane. If he would deserve the top post country would never face the ongoing problems. Oooops, pheri uhi Girija.

sorry again being a well wisher of NC: I must admit that Girija raped the country and his own party cardes. His autocratic way of rulling over the country gave birth of so much enemies such as Maoists, fights with UML and others on the streets in the pasts, and his autocratic way of rulling over his own party made Ganesh Man, and KP Bhattarai out of parties, and made Sher Bahadur Deuba rebelious who finally had to break up the party, made Gagan Thapa, and other deprived of their rank that would otherwise let them speak up for the democracy.

How can you label this looter as courageous?

you asked me to nominate a PM other than Girija. I don't need nominations from your side and I haven't asked you for that. Why don't you point out problems when Narayan Man Bijukchhe is accepted as PM ?

Girija, Whatever the myth may be is a FIRM leader. He should handle the new government. We see when KP Bhattarai handled last interim government, He could not enforce Mallik report.

It is true he is surrounded by some chamch like sujata .....

Leader like Gagan should be careful to be sidelined by politics. I think he could do something for Nepal But I have no guaranty

I don't have an issue with Girija just because his last name is Koirala. I don't like him because everytime he had the opportunity to lead the nation he was busy taking care of his opponents. NC had - twice - the mandate to rule (complete majority in the parliament) since 2046. But what did GPK do?

GPK is a bad choice. If they wanted some one from NC, Narahari Acharya would have been a better choice.

Well, not much is going to change unless Maoists are taken care of. King was an easy target. When it comes to Maoists, all these brave leaders and their hanumans scramble to look the other way.



They say victory julus are everywhere...I feel so sad. What victory? They (king , and SPA) made sure to kick the would be mother of victory right on time. The voctory is aborted and the would be mother is badly wounded. Sure, it is the party time.

I don't understand these crowds...why the hell did they let SPA leaders to accept the parliament that king wanted to resurrect with his hukum pramangi? Jana lahar should have rejected the dead parliament. Nabhaye bhutrako loktantrantik ganatantra bhaera chichyayira ? And what the hell is this sahid stuff? what sahid? Who is sahid? And for What?

SPA leaders murdered those 15/16 people. They did not die to make GPK a mukhiya. SPA leaders are cowards.

We have lots of young educated guys than why this 7th grade fail Girija again. Aren't there any young leader in Nepal who are capable of being PM of Nepal?

Man, this makes me wanna root for maoists... the plan was to dethrone gyane... never happened.. and people are celebrating victory rally... Bheda haroo ho k muji haroo.. politicians le k k bhanyo, tesai street ma aayera jyaan gayo katti ko.. them politicians got what they wanted and now everythings good... everythings so fked up... people are fked up... gyanes gotta go.. he's gotta go... all these daangres' gotta go.. giddas' gotta go... like many of u have said, we need someone new... some one young indeed... As long as gyane is up there its always gonna be his will.. Army is still his..Last i checked we had similar system when he sat on the throne.. suddenly everything changed...

IF Girija, the worst, becomes PM.... then King Gyane will look better re !!
