I was looking through the past results and these two bowlers have taken few wickets all the time. SO Nepal has to play defensive against them and wait for others to bowl. I hope they have done some research prior to the game! R das Neves (OB) J Symes (SLA) Luckily for us Alexander, one of their successful bowler is gone

Nepal's middle order needs to do a serious improvement in batting. After Chaugain and veswakar fall off, they just cannot handle the pressure and suck big time. I am envisioning a total of around 190 only.......that will not be sufficient unless we bowl some miraculous spells.

i think i just gave up goodbye plate dreams y'know, for a team that has several comptent spinners in the side, im just amazed that we suck so bad at maintaining a decent scoring rate against them.

I don't blame Chaugain but when everyone knows that our middle order sucks, he should be more careful and try to stick around for more overs. I have seen him scoring 40-50 runs in almost all matches and then falling apart. He should try to convert those 40's into big ones just to ensure we capitalize on good starts. We were 5 runs per over until he was there and now just a mere 3.5! Anyways, let's see how Nepal approaches in bowling. They won't get to defend more than 170 it seems.

i know prem chaudhary is capable of hitting big, it will be interesting to see if he will survive the last 10 overs along with gyanendra malla, i think for sure there run rate will start increasing since they don't have any pressure of chasing the run rate. Any score above 190 will be competive for south africa, since they are batting second and thanks to our good bowling line up. So it will be a good game current score Nepal Under-19s 141/4 (39.0 ov) Nepal Under-19s RR: 3.66

Nepal is picking up on the run rate. A ray of hope arises again. Nepal stunned SA in 2004 when they packed up the team for 156. Here is the link http://content-usa.cricinfo.com/southafrica/content/story/136833.html I hope they can repeat similar performance today as well.

the difference being that in 04, the SA batting was pretty horrible all tournament while they have managed 220+ in 3 of their 4 outings this world cup, with a top score of 330+ defending anything less than 200 is a pipe dream. mebbe if they can rattle off 30-40 runs in the last 5 overs and get somewhere around 210, we at least have a chance of making a game of this. otherwise, its all over

Although they managed 214 the pitch is excellent for batting and I have no hope of Nepali bowlers doing their job for Nepal today. However, if they can strike couple of times early enough, south african would go in the defensive mood and the run rate could climb up. However, South African have an excellent batting line up and hold all the aces in this stage of the match. Nepalese batsmen should be disappointed in the dressing room after such a bright start. They have again failed to follow the footsteps of their captain. South Africans on the otherhand should be in confident mood and happy about their position at the half way stage

With 215 target to win I think we have a match in our hands. South Africans might have a good batting line up but there will be a pressure in the air since they will be chasing a modest total and that too in a semi final. Also, South Africans are not very good players of spin as they are against fast or medium pace. I think if our spinners can bowl a tight line, we have a match in our hand definitely. No question about that. I dont want to sound too ambitious, but I won't be surprised if I read in tommorow's paper "NEPAL STUN SA"
