Naturally, after seeing a long discussion thread on fraction and multiplicaiton of Los Angeles nepali communities and dashain party, obviously, I was tempted to see the photos when they were uploaded. Unfortunately, the party should have been great, but so far the photos???

Anyway, good to see 3-4 very nice photos. I wish the photos from such gathering be able to represent all segments of program and audience.

Please keep on practicing some camera skills during social events and web uploading before next dashain.

Anyway, I heard the LA party was good in terms of food and programs. I received another set of pictures from one of my friends. They are great. I was pissed off with the quality of pictures displayed as LAS ANGELES DASHAIN PARTY PHOTOS, as if they were official portraits. There were some participants who were not aware of the split of two groups and just wondered why they didn't come this time? re.

I went to LA dashain party too. I am neither Pradhan nor Newar. Beside Khala and Makhula I dont speak any other newari words :D. It is true that there were 200+ people, plus I met people from santa barbarra to san diego there and some how they were not Pradhan or Newar as well.

wow, is this how LA's nepali community always lived? i have been here a few months and don't know many nepalis. the few i know are doing their thing and don't seem to care about what's happening. i doubt if they even visit this forum. why is the community so divided here?
