rpanday, paadequen1, isolatedfreak, aarav, hangoolama, Newuser, iamnepali ,gharjwaii ,freedomofdogma ,jaynepal ,kalekrisna ,susant sharma, wheel, captain crash, confused, bionepal, usofa, mailadai, kg4mvp, nepalicnn, arryan, nepalipaakhe, suvachintak, nitu, bond 007, zil, indisguise, ruina, lonelyinmidwest, babajee, no way, prem dai, kuiyeko aalu, naxas, and so many of the readers? thank you very much for ur effort for writing and a healthy discussion.. Isn?t it high time now to show unity and solidarity ? Most of the ppl now reading this thread are from abroad and some from ktm I know we are lacking the large number of ppl from remote side of Nepal in the discussion forum. I just read a news.. Finnish donate Rs 500 every year to Nepal.. and this clicks my head. Why can?t we send a letter and at least a dollar to support the king fighting against terrorism. If we can buy 25 dollar tshirt to show our support to American troops or firfighters, cant we do it for our own nation??? Despite being criticized by all around the world.. I think the support of Nepalese from abroad will definitely boost up him and encourage him to work smoothly and being motivated and determined on his mission to bring peace and prosperity back. I am not involved in politics and I am an ordinary Nepalese. Sending at least a dollar from Nepalese living abroad is just an idea. I am cautious now if anybody thinking I am seeking opportunity to ingulp some dollars then you are wrong. Its just a thought. And I hope this thread will get ur attention for a healthy discussion for supporting king or making him cautious or wishing him for the completion of the mission he intended to do. Most of the countries have not shown the green light to king?s action that?s why I think support from Nepalese is a lot more valuable for king. We want to see peaceful and prosperous Nepal. Not to forget when king Birendra proposed Nepal as Peaceful country like Switzerland then we got support from a lot of countries around the world.. and King Birendra?s mission was remain incomplete when India (so called our gret fren) disapproved the proposal. I don?t know if I am thinking to much or asking you to think too much? but just want to know ur thoughts.. What you all think is there anyway we can organize a committee to collect ur letters to king .. ur suggestion or comment or ur donation .. that the committee will mail it to king. Or even without a committee.. is there anyway we can send those things directly to the king??? Even a bunch of Nepalese?s support to the king will be more than the support our country seeking from India or USA or Britain. I think this is our last hope.. and the king is the ray of light light.. of our hope. Let him grow and work for our nation. Lets show our unity and solidarity. And think about how we can contribute to nation when our nation needs us and our support.

Dear Friends, Thank you so much for liking my simple ideas!! A great start in itself is half of the work done :). Meteors how about you write a letter on behalf of Nepalis living in your state and have your friends and people you know sign them. Then you can certainyl mail it to me. Likewise, I can do the same for the state I am in and in the states around me through the help of my personal friends. If people can just tell me which states are covered. I can find people in the states where none of us are at. I can get midwest almost covered. So those in the midwest area feel free to let me know your hold in a particular state or a city. I know MN has a lot of students. Anyoen of you from one of those colleges can step up would be great! I need people from South like TX a big Nepali state. NY another big Nepali state, basically whole east coast and West Coast like CA, WA, CO, NE and a whole bunch of others with a lot of Nepalis. If you each person can reach out to as many people as you can and mail me those letters. I will assure you that each of those letters will be received by the King. In addition, I am hoping to let the media know that Nepali people are standing behind their King. Even if you can only have ten or twenty people sign in support for the king, that is okay. Please dont' get discouraged. Lets do what we each can! I need to know who can take care of which states? Jai Nepal

Ajsab01 I dont believe a single word from you. You have always methodically presented the news and facts in disturbingly distorted ways. Your words badly lack credibility. You are no better than mouth-piece newspapers of political parties just like "Dristi Weekly" is for CPN UML," Bimarsha Weekly" for NC. "Nispakhsya Weekly" for Royalists ..etc You learned nothing even after spending sometime in western country with great democracy.

Nepal Government or Nepalese do not need monetary help. Nepal or Nepalese have more money than you ever think. Each Nepalese families have millions of rupees in their bank accounts and jewellaries in their private safe boxes. Most of the government officials have more money than we can imagine. More than 70% buildings in kathmandu a result of unthinkable corruption and crimes. We only need moral support and sympathy to king. We need to discourage to corrupt Nepalese crooks and Nepalese Criminals. How to identifiy Nepalese Crooks? Simple, whoever works in Nepalese government offices and if they have land and building house in kathmandu or if Nepalese (government officials) travel foreign countires with their pocket money. These Nepalese people are 95% corrupted crooks. We should not surprise and confious for that. Nepalese people must not welcome for these kind of Nepalese crooks around the world. Because these crooks are the root cause of todays our country and socials problems. And we have to suffer and live with it. These Nepalese crooks are enjoying and spending lavish life everyday....

Dear Readers! I really appreciate you all for giving time to read the postings and making valuable comments. Ajsab01! If there is will, there is way. As you have wished some of us have time and energy to do it. Even I could not take the responsibility to do it on my own accord and now we have a lot of rising hands for it. Maybe they are not vocal but the desire is palpating in each and everyone?s heart. RubiesDiamonds has shown Energy to accomplish it and with the division of works its not that tough either. If at least few of us take the responsibility of some part of work, its not difficult job I think. RubiesDiamond! I really appreciate your enthusiastic step. I take it as motivation and an extra pill of determination to get this job done. Ruina! Thanx for ur nice words. There would be millions of Nepalese with like thoughts.. only problem is that we are not being able to chain together and circulate the thoughts. Now lets discuss on why this Signature Collection is necessary? Each and Every signature will represent a conscious and free Nepalese who cares for Nepal. This signature will be our concerns for Nepal. Since the political instability and wrong practice of democracy leaded us to a dead end path of pessimism. King?s step to take over power and give a start to a new era of Nepal has brought hope in our heart. This Signature could be a cautious support to the king in a difficult time when the world is taking their helping hands away from Nepal. We Nepalese in abroad are enjoying the best core of democracy. We are not blinded by any political influences rather we are using our freedom of speech and all other sorts of freedom to cultivate a genuine tradition to enlighten each other mutually, sharing the awareness, and being more responsible for the nation with respect to time or being in tune with time. This signature could represent a unity of Nepalese all around the world. We do not support king for the reason he is king, we have supported king and ready to co-operate with king or keep pace with kings move because king is the last hope to bring political stability and peace in Nepal. This signature could be our hope and also honoring king with our faith. We Nepalese are not dumb that we always needed to be nudged by political party to choose right or wrong. We can pick light from darkness since we are not blind anymore neither we are deaf and hear only party?s leaders shouts. This signature will represent our free move towards light. And there is not influence of party leader. This is our move solely motivated by the voice of nation rather than shout of any leaders. I see this signature as a new tradition to bring nepali together in one garland and the first free move towards light. I live in Alabama, and I can circulate this chain and talk to all of my friends about signature collection in Alabama. I can hold the responsibility of this job in Alabama. I have high hope other fellows will raise their hands and contribute in the mission in other states or other parts of the world too. Good thing about this thread in sajha is that no body is trying to impose anything on others.. we are trying to discuss about how to help nation and unite nepali?s move for the establishment of peace in Nepal. Dear Readears! I am thinking about mailing a printed copy of some of your suggestions to Nepalese living in different cities in Alabama so that they can add some more suggestions on it or at least can pick the priority depending upon which suggestions they liked the most. For this I need your permission to make print out of your suggestions from this thread. Thank you Very Much!

Thank you Meteors!! Alabama is covered, should I say? Texas?? Somebody from Texas needs to step up please? Colorado? I know bunch of Nepalis live there/? Boston/NY/VA/MD Area-->>> Tons of Nepalis there...One person to take the leadership! California--> Anyone in California??Any Nepali who is willing to support King G. How about Nebraska?? Iowa? Saint Cloud State University, MN Mankato State University, MN 2 Largest Nepalis population.. I think these are the major states with lots of people. I need each of you to step up type up a simple letter or perhaps Meteors can write one for all of us..I amnot the greatest writer as you may have already noticed :-)...just have your friends or family who support King G sign it. We have go to let the world know that King G has done nothing wrong or undemocratic. Who can better understand democracy than those who live in the USA. Thats why I think each of our voice will make a difference not jsut for the KIng for a moral boost up but also interms of other so called democractic countries i.e India, USA. If you can find 10 people to sign it, then thats FINE also. Don't get discouraged or feel overwhelmed by this. This is not supposed to consume a lot of time. THis is the time when we must come together as a nation. Maoist problems is no less than Spetember 11th, except September 11th happened once, we have September 11th every day every month every year for years. Lets support the cause, lets support King G. Thank you for reading my thoughts! Nepali

This is not any Nepali convention where people impose things over each other and conflicts arise. We are standing for one common reason.. For the Nation in Need. Lets erase our divided sentiments and unite for the lst time in the name of Nation. We need to Set example too. Lets do it From Alabama. Hope some of us will take cooperate from other states too. Dear Readers!! Thank You Sahayatri for posting that news. I am fairly disappointed with about people not responding or not dropping at least a line. NewUsers!! I think if we wait for 100 days to complete(??) Wont it be too late??? Too late in a sense who knows if it won?t last for 100 days. I know what you mean by 100 days. But we all know Nepalese population always had divided sentiments in the past and it looks like hardly there have been any change in our divided sentiments yet. It?s always a tough job to unite the Nepalese mass. My concerns about uniting the Nepalese mass is to counter back Foreign Media. They are deteriorating the image of our nation. There is no doubt we like freedom. But we should stand together and be vocal about the point that we always had Gundaraaj (Anarchy) in the name of Democracy. So right now the restoring democracy will be another attempt to restore the Gundaraaj again and the Nepalese mass does not want it. All we need now is Peace, Security, firm infrastructure for development, enlightened Nepalese population, and the most important is the restoring of hope for good future in our heart since most of us now have become the victim of pessimism. There is what Sahayatri posted: Congress Neta Shri Girija Prasad Koirala ki Suputri Sushri Sujata Koirala ahile India ma hunuhunchha. Sujata Koirala le Indian media lai dinu bhayeko bibaran anusaar Girija Koirala lai ahile jyan ko khatara chha. Girija koirala lai poison samet dina sakne dharana Sujata koirala le Indain media lai bhannubhayeko chha. Sujata Koirala ahile chahanuhunchha, Indian Government le Aba Nepal Sarkaar Lai Karbahi garos. Aba Nepal Ko khairiyet chhaina. Ke saanchhai nai Girija Koirala lai poisoning garera marna laageko chha ta yo sarkaar le?? Ma ta ranabhulla ma pareko chhu. India aau Girija Bachaau........... Malai laagchha yo news ma kunai satyata chhaina. cited from: http://www.newsofnepal.com/ffstory.asp?sn=3183 See these politicians have depicted a very bad picture of Nepal in the world and they are not even tired yet. Sujata Koirala?s falsified statement in Indian News Media is another example to deteriorate Nepal?s image once again.. We should be united and show support to kings step to encounter these type of falsified news. And we should try to raise the voice of general public so that foreign media will listen what we had before and what we have now and what we want in future. Aarav! You can email me in rstarssss@yahoo.co.in And we can work on these signature collection things from Alabama and prepare a petition. And I would like to assure you to keep all your private information up to me. RubiesDiamond! Need your email info or at least phone phone number to keep in touch?. Email me. Thank you everyone to read it and request you to drop few line That can stir anybody and could be beneficial to the whole mass.

Even if the Maoists totally win over Gyane, nothing disasterous is going to happen. Well, China had more than 2200 years of monarchy and nothing disasterous happened when the monarchy system was abolished by Mao in China.

BTW, I was on vacation visiting my relatives who has been out of Nepal for more than 30 yrs they talked about the political situation in Nepal and were criticizing the moves of KG. I listened to them quietly as they were my seniors, but after listening enough I asked them, if any of them had the experience of being there and workingin in Nepal and experiencing so called democracy? Can we stay out of country and suggest what is better and not for Nepal in present situation? We cannot make our judgement based on the information provided by media, can we? Talk with people (not involved in political parties) working in the country and listen to what they have to say or go back in the country and feel it yourself only then I believe your opinion would have some validity. We have seen Panchayat and their corruptions, threats on streets likes from Dhirendra Shah and Jagat Gauchan and scandals like Sunita and Namita murder etc. but after so called democracy we are having hundreds of Dihirendra Shah and Jagat Gauchan and scandals like Sunita and Namita. Is this what we asked for in the name of Demoracy? We do not want to be ruled but yes be need a leader in Nepal. We can always be suspicious about KG, but should be raise aginst him if he is willing and showing some responsibility towards Nepal? We have already seen and have the result what those Netas has done to Nepal, now would it be wise for us to go against him if he is showing some courage? I believe any sensible Nepali who has lived in Nepal after so called democracy would know whome to support. Meteors, count me in. Cheers!!

Dear Readers, As we already read the falsified news (Sujata?s statement) published in foreign media. The statement by Sujata Koirala is nothing but a Hindi Movie Style Cheap Story. All these leaders after they would be released from House Arrest will definitely talk to foreign media and try to do the same thing what Sujata just did. Jhut Bolnu ta yini haruko ragat ma cha. Don?t you think we should be well prepared to digest several such similar types of news which are yet to be published in foreign media? We might see similar news very soon in several foreign media. We all know they are fake statements. Will it be fair enough to just read and forget those things. If we ignore it this time too.. wont it be another encouragement for them to speak up lies over lies??? I was fairly impressed by the idea to make signatured petition to support king?s move to encourage him work in favor of Nepal without being pressurized by red lights shown by foreign countries and at the same time king would know Nepalese around the world have great expectation from him. And we are seeing him as only person who is able to do miracle to bring hopes back to our heart. We did not speak even then when those Neta imposed us Gundaaraaj in the name of Democracy. And if we repeat same things again.. will we be able to answer ourselves that have we ever tried to break the ice and at least did any attempt to bring change in the favor for Nepal. I believe most of us who are residing now in foreign countries hardly ever have any plans to go back to Nepal and work for the Nation after their studies. Reason being unsystematic tradition and no firm policy and infrastructure for development .. also chaaplusi trantra to get job no matter how qualified you are? and fear that you have to continue to do that buttering neta to save the job and several more reasons. Do we feel proud to say we are Nepali and we are from the Home of Mt. Everest when we think about political condition of Nepal and how divided our Mass is????? If our signatured petition is able to tell them we are supporting them then don?t you think if the king does anything wrong then our other signatured petition can point out him.. that he is wrong this time. Do we have to wait until ELECTION to SPEAK?? Do We Have to Rely on Such Opportunist Netas again to speak up our words and raise our Voice or rather if we unite and speak the every word together.. then who wont hear us or who dares to ignore us??? Sajha is itself an incompetent media in a sense It cant convey its voice to all Nepalese around the world. There is not doubt we care for Nepal but we are dispersed around the world and divided in different thoughts. I Think We should Start to come in Personal touch by Email and Phones and discuss matters too. This way We Get to Know People Who Cares for Nepal and who Knows we will be Able to do Our part of COMMITMENT TO NEPAL AAMA and can breathe with the deep satisfaction that we are setting a good Tradition for our clans to follow. The only way to counter back falsified news in the foreign media and set a good picture of Nepal in Foreigner?s head.. we should set an example that we could be united when country needed it.. we could hear the voice of nation when Nepal AAma really wants to speak with me? we could be committed to the nation when its needed. Its time to show them that?s those who were doing andolan on street and destroying our properties when ritik roshan talks bad about Nepal were not nepali but Party ka Blinded Karyakartas. Its time to show the world that we are peaceful people and do not want Maoist (Terrorist) violence anymore in the name of Patriotism. Lets Get UNITED and Set an EXAMPLE to those Blinded Party ko Karyakartas and barbaric MAOIST and Show them THE REAL MEANING OF PATRIOTISM. Thank You Wheel and Newuser101 I am boosted up with your statement. I don?t know if yall like my idea about being in personal touch by email or phone since I believe it will definitely help us in the exchange of views and do something for nation. We all wanted to do something for Nepal.. but why are we waiting and for what we are waiting? lets step up friends. Email me rstarssss@yahoo.co.uk if you like to be in personal touch. Thank you for reading it.
