Let's discuss about the TPS extension that is expected to happen today (till the end of day). The following notes should be considered:
1. Federal register schedule of publication notices: 8:45 AM, 11:15 AM and 4:15 PM ET. (not published yet)
2. The sites that need to be followed:

http://immigration-law.com/
3. If TPS is not extended by DHS, it will be extended at least 6 months counting from Dec 24, 2016 for smooth termination so that people can reinstate their original immigration status.
4. If TPS is extended, the EAD will be automatically extended up to 6 months and can be used to work with the same expired EAD but needs to apply for new within this period.
 5. I will also discuss about required documents for re-registering TPS later in this thread, if it is extended.
Please let me know if you need any information about this. I will share whatever I know. I have been working/following/discussing/conferencing on this issues for few months.

There are separate two approval letter we received I-821 (TPS approval : Application for Temporary protection status) and 765 (EAD) approval letter with card, if you apply

@fdpower Thank you for reminding everyone.. that side of the news where we lost so many lives is still sad and the worse part of it is we have not come out of that devastation yet. These are really the ying and yangs for us here in America. But we have to contribute as much as possible and whenever possible.

@Everest8448 Thank you for your response. When you say I 765 (EAD) approval letter with card, is it same as the TPS approval letter? Because what I have is the letter which had my EAD was attached to, which is not a approval letter but just the EAD attached to it.
If so I must be missing that letter, which ill have to look for now..

I-821 (TPS approval : Application for Temporary protection status) is different letter.

Yes there is two acceptance letter one for TPS and one for EAD , I would make a copy for both. If you do file for AP ...please put one copy of that AP into a locker box..if for some reason you lose that ap during the visit its another hassle.

Yeah seems like I have already lost the Acceptance Letter for TPS EAD, so I will have to hunt for it in my apt today.. I was really hoping to post it today but just could not find it in the morning.Thanks again for your comment.

I only received I-797 Notice of Action & EAD and the letter it came with. I only have the EAD now, and not the letter it came with. I am really confused about I-821, which I never received!

@inrepair You should have received a TPS Approval letter (Thats what we mean by I-821 letter) separate from the I-797. If you did not is yourTPS case still pending at USCIS?

BTW when filing AP along with 737 and 821 do we send them one check ? or one for AP and other for 737 plus 821

when filing 765 , 821 and 131 do we send one check with only one biometrics fee ? or 131 with separate check with another biometrics fee ?

another correction , AP does not need biometrics.

@inrepair That was my bad.. but we are talking about 2 I-797. One for the TPS approval (related to I-821) and another for TPS EAD approval (related to I-765).
I was asking if everyone had received both. I only have I797 for the TPS approval and not for the TPS EAD approval.
So when u say you have I-797 do you have one of those or 2 ?

@Inrepair: No need to worry, if you have following documents listed below, then you are good to re-apply.

I-797, Notice of Action letter is used for approval notice for all types of immigration forms.

IF your TPS application form I-831 is approved, then you should have received I-797, Notice of Action

Notice type: Approval Notice valid from (approved date) to 12/24/2016
You have been granted Temporary Protected Status (TPS) under section 244....

That means you have TPS status.

IF Your I-765 Application for Employment Authorization application is approved, then you should have received I-797, Notice of Action.

Notice Type: Approval Notice
Class: A12 or C19
Valid from ( approved date) to 12/24/2016

Your application for employment authorization has been approved. The Form-I-766 , Employment Authorization document, was sent under separate cover to the beneficiary.
Remember, you got your EAD Card ( Form- i -766) on red lines envelope with priority mail on it.

There are few bar codes on you EAD card attached paper.  Your A#, Address Your Receipt # . and Card #

USE THIS TEAR-OFF PORTION TO SPEED YOUR APPLICATION FOR AN EXTENSION OR REPLACEMENT CARD.

When you file for another card, we recommend you attach the tear-off portion to your completed application.

@sexyinsari Thank you for your comment, that was the point of discussion. The only problem right now is that everyone near to me (talked to 5 people already) does nt have a I -797 for EAD.
So at this point, either everyone I know is reckless or may be some of us did not receive the notice I-797 for the EAD but just the EAD itself.

Can anyone provide the full list of documents required for re-registration? Do we need to send all documents we sent last time?

Okay !! This is getting really confusing now. So, here it is. When we file for the TPS (Form I-821) along with the I-765 for EAD, we receive two separate I-797C, Notice of action forms (one for each case files) saying "The above case has been received by our office...". Then we receive another I-797C Notice of Action for biometrics. By this time the EAD is usually approved and we receive it separately in a red-lined envelop. Finally, once the TPS is approved we receive a I-797A Notice of action (2 pages) that has the deadline for the TPS and all other info in it. If you had also applied for the I-131 the advance parole, if approved, you receive a I-512L form in a yellow envelop. So, these are all the forms we receive from the USCIS. However, I am not sure what all forms need to be include for re-submission.
