The Indian media called Thamel a mini- India, so what? whats the big deal about it. There are so many Somalians living in many places of Minnesota and people call their neighborhood a little Somalia. I have never seen any American getting mad about it. But Nepalese are making issues about Thamel.

obliviously they feel proud.. whether you feel proud or get angry... both of them are reactions.. and specially we nepali mind is very reactive...

Nepali people are losers, I have stopped considering myself Nepali a long time ago. However, I love Nepal more than anyone of you. I just don't like to live with Nepali mentality. I don't want to end up my life complaining about where Buddha was born or where the Mt everest is for that matter...nor do I want my kids to harbor this nonsense mentality. I know Nepal is a beautiful country and there so many things one can be proud of, but if complaining about all these trivial things and go on ranting against India/Indians is what all it takes to be a "Nepali", then I am no longer a Nepali. Nothing to be proud of in being one.
I wish our new generation would grow up and be able to see things beyond all these bullcraps. I wish the new generation would engender new ideas for better economic reforms and entrepreneurial aspirations and be known to the whole world in that regard. It is so unfortunate that our generation will end up being proud about Buddha and Mount everest. Honestly, both Buddha and Everest suck!

people need to travel n see the world rather than styign in that little tiny well/ Nepal

Indian media represents their own mentality ...we already know who they are ... we shouldn't think like them .they can say thamel mini india or bollywood who cares...
